Revolutions have always been a catalyst for the aggrieved peoples to rise up against those who have taken or abused their rights. The Algerian revolution was one of these revolutions, adopted by those who aspire towards freedom as a light that is sought, following the pattern of all revolutions in the world as its proponents attempt to export it. In relation to the Palestinian people, the idea of relying upon Arab countries to liberate their land was at its greatest level prior to the Algerian revolution. As the Palestinians believed that they had no way to confront Israel and its munitions, they headed in the direction of delegating the Arabs to attain their independence. As such, the slogan that “Unity is the path to liberation” appeared on the ground. That is whilst the problem of Palestine reached what was called or what seemed to be “the intractable problem”. The hope came to be that the Arab nation would be liberated, that it would merge and be strengthened enough to one day liberate Palestine. However, the problem of Palestine itself is surrounded by ambiguity, despair and sometimes periods of hope. That is whilst the Palestinian people resort to the liberated Arab countries in order to undertake their duty … And sometimes the people of Palestine have a kind of dependence reflected in “let us just (survive and) earn a living”, and then one day when Arabs are free, they may be able to fight the crusader Zionist … That was until the Algerian revolution, which turned the scales and changed perceptions, and returned to the Palestinian people the hope that they could be self-reliant in liberating their land. They only have to be armed with will and determination, and to make use of and rely upon what is possible and available in their hands, as the Algerian people did, in order to achieve their independence. This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc 2018. Les révolutions étaient toujours des moyens qui favorisent les nations à se lever contres leurs colonisateurs. La révolution algérienne, qu’on a essayé de l’exporter, constitue un glorieux exemple pour tous ceux qui veulent se libérer. Quant au peuple palestinien, avant le déclenchement de la Glorieuse Révolution algérienne, il comptait beaucoup sur les pays arabes pour sa libération car il avait l’impression qu’il ne pouvait pas faire face à Israël seul. De ce fait, le slogan : « L’union pour la libération » s’est émergé. De plus, la cause palestinienne arrivait à ce qu’on appelle « Le problème insurmontable ». Ce problème résidait dans la dépendance totale des Palestiniens sur les pays arabes pour leur libération et pour satisfaire leurs besoins de vie quotidienne. Cependant, le déclenchement de la révolution algérienne a incité les Palestiniens à changer d’avis pour compter sur eux-mêmes dans le but de se lever contre leurs ravisseurs pour obtenir l’indépendance impatiemment attendue en mettant en œuvre le grand potentiel qu’ils possèdent. كانت الثورات دائما محفزا للشعوب المكلومة لتنتفض على غاصبيها، وكانت الثورة الجزائري أحد هذه الثورات التي اتخذها من يطوق إلى الحرية نبراسا يقتدى به ، وعلى غرار كل الثورات في العالم فإن أصحابها يحاولون تصديرها، وبالنسبة للشعب الفلسطيني فقد ظلت فكرة التعويل على الدول العربية في تحرير أرضه قائمة على أشدها قبل قيام الثورة الجزائرية، ولاعتقاد الفلسطينيين أنهم لا قبل لهم بإسرائيل وعتادها اتجهوا نحو توكيل العرب في نيل استقلالهم، ولذلك برز على السطح شعار "الوحدة طريق التحرير" ووصلت مشكلة فلسطين إلى ما أطلق عليه أو ما يبدو أنه ( المشكلة المستعصية الحل) ، وأصبح الأمل هو أن تحرر الأمة العربية وتندمج وتقوى يوما ما على تحرير فلسطين، ولكن مشكلة فلسطين بذاتها أصبح يحوطها الغموض ويحوطها اليأس و أحيانا فترات من الأمل وأصبح يرتكن الشعب الفلسطيني إلى الدول العربية المتحررة لكي تقوم بواجبها ... وأحيانا يخامر شعب فلسطين نو ع من الاتكال بأن دعنا نأكل لقمة العيش ، ويوما ما عندما يتحرر العرب فقد يتمكنون من محاربة الصليبية الصهيونية ... إلى قيام الثورة الجزائرية التي قلبت الموازين وغيرت المفاهيم، وأعادت إلى الشعب الفلسطيني الأمل في إمكانية التعويل على نفسه في تحرير أرضه، وما عليه إلا أن يتسلح بالإرادة والعزيمة ، وأن يستعين بالمستطاع والمتاح بين يديه ــ كما فعل الشعب الجزائري ــ لينال استقلاله |
