|f In this article, we address the subject of technical knowledge due to its economic and legal importance within working life. That is as technical knowledge occupies an important and prominent place among the subject areas of industrial property. That is because of what it raises in terms of thorny and complex issues, whether at the national in relation to the major industrial countries, or at the international level when it is transferred from those states to the developing states. This is what provoke us to examine the legal foundation and basis for the protection of technical knowledge by way of copyright and similar rights, due to the absence of a specific law to protect it.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc 2018.

|a نتناول في هذا المقال موضوع المعرفة الفنية لما لها من أهمية اقتصادية و قانونية في الحياة العملية ، بحيث تحتل المعرفة الفنية مكانا هاما و بارزا بين موضوعات الملكية الصناعية و ذلك لما تثيره من مسائل شائكة و معقدة سواء على know-how الصعيد الوطني في الدول الصناعية الكبرى ، أو على الصعيد الدولي بمناسبة نقلها من تلك الدول إلى الدول النامية . وهذا ما جعلنا نبحث في الأساس و السند القانوني لحماية المعرفة الفنية بواسطة حق المؤلف و الحقوق المجاورة، لعدم توفر قانون خاص لحمايتها.
