اعتلي عرش الوزارة لسلاطين السلاجقة مجموعة من الوزراء الذين استطاعوا الوصول إلى مكانة كبيرة في المجتمع، بل وجد منهم من صارت إليه أحوال البلاد والعباد، فقد قنع مجموعة منهم بالسلطة المطلقة. ومع ما وصل إليه الوزراء السلاجقة من مكانة مرموقة، إلا قل أن ترى وزيرا منهم قد مات ميتة طبيعية. إذ أن معظم هؤلاء الوزراء تعرضوا للاغتيال مع اختلاف أسبابه، والجهة المنفذة له. وقد تناول البحث المقصود اغتيال هؤلاء الوزراء، ومن ثم أهم الوزراء الذين تعرضوا للاغتيال في الدولة السلجوقية، وإلقاء الضوء على الأسباب التي أدت إلى اغتيالهم، كالصراع على منصب الوزارة، ودخول الوزراء في الصراع على السلطة، كما كان لفرقة الإسماعيلية دور فى اغتيال بعض الوزراء، يضاف إلى ذلك أن مشاركة الوزراء للسلاطين في النفوذ، قد أسهمت في اغتيال بعضهم، كما لا نغفل دور العداء الشخصي والخيانة في الاغتيال، ومن ثم إيضاح الآثار المترتبة على اغتيال الوزراء من ضعف للسلطة المركزية، وحرمان الدولة من خبراتهم، وما تعرض له هؤلاء الوزراء من مصادرة لأموالهم.

This study dealt with intentional murder, and then the most important ministers who were assassinated in the Seljuk State, and shed light on the reasons that led to the assassination, including the great struggle for power that prevailed among them, the obvious role of the Ismailia band in the assassination of some ministers, in addition to the interference of these minister with Sultans in power was also contributed to the assassination of some of them, and do not overlook the role of the personal animosity and betrayal in the assassination, and then to clarify the implications of the assassination of ministers of the weakness of the central authority, and depriving the state of their experiences, and how these ministers suffered from the confiscation of their money.
