وتوصل البحث إلى أن جميع المقترحات حصلت على متوسط أعلى من 2,25 باستثناء مقترحين وهما "أن يقوم بالإشراف على الباحث فريق إشرافي متنوع ومتكامل في التخصصات والمهام ويرأسه المشرف الرئيس، وضع رغبة الطالب في الاعتبار عند اختيار المناقشين" الذين حصلا على متوسط أقل من 2.25. مما يشير ذلك إلى أن المقترحات مهمة جدا وضرورية جدا لتطوير منظومة الإشراف العلمي بكليات التربية في الجامعات المصرية من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة ,باستثناء المقترحين –السابق الإشارة إليهما-فهما مهمين من وجهة نظرهم. وأوصى البحث ببعض التوصيات منها: بضرورة الاهتمام بالتطوير المستمر لمجال الإشراف العلمي من جميع جوانبه وكافة عناصره على مستوى الأقسام والكليات والجامعات. والعمل على وضع معايير واضحة ومحددة بدقة لضمان جودة الإشراف العلمي على مستوى الأقسام والكليات والجامعات. وضرورة الاستفادة من شبكة لإنترنت في تقديم برامج تدريبية في مجال الإشراف العلمي للمشرفين وللطلاب.

The research aimed to identify the views of faculty members, at the Faculty of Education Benha University, concerning some proposals for the development of academic supervision, in addition to providing some recommendations and proposals for the development of the system of academic supervision in the faculties of education in Egypt. The research employed the descriptive methodological approach by using a survey form which was applied to a sample of 44 faculty members at the Faculty of Education of Benha University.
The research found that all proposals received an average above 2,25 except for two proposals: “The researcher should be supervised by a diverse and integrated supervisory team in disciplines and tasks headed by the Chief Supervisor” and “Taking into account the student's wish when selecting the discussants” which received an average of less than 2.25. This indicates that the proposals are very important and necessary for the development of the system of academic supervision in the faculties of education in Egyptian universities from the point of view of the sample study, with the exception of the two proposals, mentioned above, as they are important/significant from their point of view.
The research made some recommendations, which included:
- The need to pay attention to the continuous development of the field of academic supervision in all its aspects and all its elements at the level of departments, colleges and universities.
- The need to work to establish clear and precise standards to ensure the quality of academic supervision at the level of departments, colleges and universities.
- The need to make use of the internet to provide training programs, in the field of academic supervision, for supervisors and students.
