الإنسان في الأساس طاقة فكرية، وإن ما يملكه من القدرات الذهنية والخبرات المتميزة والمعرفة هو رأس المال الحقيقي، وهو مصدر الإبداع والابتكار والتميز في المنظمات المعاصرة، حيث يعبر عن رأس المال الفكري كونه المعرفة التي يمكن توظيفها واستثمارها، من هذا المنطلق يمكن النظر إلى رأس المال الفكري باعتباره أساس تقدم المنظمات المعاصرة، ويصبح إدارته واستثماره في تطوير المنظمات هو المدخل الأهم في العصر الحالي. ويتناول هذا البحث دور إدارة رأس المال الفكري في تدعيم عملية التطوير التنظيمي، وذلك باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، بالتطبيق على مركز المعلومات ودعم اتخاذ القرار، وسوف يجيب هذا البحث على التساؤل الرئيسي الآتي "هل تدعم إدارة رأس المال الفكري عملية التطوير التنظيمي بمركز المعلومات ودعم اتخاذ القرار؟، وسوف يتم تقديم نتائج وتوصيات هذا البحث لدعم متخذي القرار ومختلف الباحثين والمهتمين بموضوع الدراسة.
