يهدف البحث إلى التعريف بماهية المحددات ومدى تأثيرها على عملية التمويل داخل الأندية الرياضية أن الحاجة الماسة لدى الهيئات الرياضية لاستخدام مصادر وأساليب التمويل الذاتي قد ظهرت نتيجة انخفاض معدلات المساهمات المالية أو صعوبة توفيرها وهذه تمثل مصدر التمويل الرئيسي لهذه الهيئات وذلك بسبب ارتفاع المصروفات بجانب عدم ثبات وانحصار مصادر التمويل وأيضاً انخفاض معدلات الإقدام من جانب الأفراد على تقديم المساهمات الخدمية التطوعية لأسباب قد تكون اجتماعية أو اقتصادية أو غيرها، وإدراك القائمين على إدارة الهيئات أنها أصبحت تقابلهم عدد من المشاكل ومن ثم تتطلب حلولاً لضمان نموها واستقرارها وأن أساليب التمويل الذاتي إذا توافرت لديهم وأن للمناخ السياسي الذي يعيشه العراق تأثير كبير على الأندية الرياضية، وكثيرا ما يرجع المسئولون في مختلف المؤسسات القصور في الأداء إلى عدم كفاية التمويل اللازم للإنفاق على الخطط، والبرامج الموضوعة،، وساعد على تدني مستواها إذا لم تتوافر الموارد المالية اللازمة، أصبحت الأعباء الملقاة على الميزانية العامة للدولة من الضخامة بحيث أنها لا تستطيع أن تواجه ظروف المنافسة على المستوى العالمي، ولا تقوى حتى على الوفاء باحتياجات الجماهير الملحة والمتزايدة يوماً بعد يوم على المستوى الداخلي مما أدى إلى ضعف التمويل المالي الوارد من الحكومة والمتمثل في الدعم الوارد من وزارة الشباب والرياضة العراقية وتعاني الأندية الرياضية العراقية من ضعف شديد بجانب التمويل الذاتي على الرغم من المخصصات الشهرية التي تقدمها وزارة الرياضة والشباب العراقية وكان المنهج المستخدم للبحث هو المنهج الوصفي عن طريق المسح كأحد أنواع الدراسات الوصفية لمناسبته لطبيعة عينة البحث تم اختيار عينة البحث بالطريقة العمدية من محددات إدارة التمويل الذاتي التي تحقيق أهداف الأندية الرياضية بالدرجة الأولى العراقية حيث تم اختيار (12) فرداً من عدد (8) أندية الدرجة الأولى رياضية كعينة استطلاعية (2) أندية شمال (2) أندية الجنوب (4) أندية الوسط وكانت العينة الأساسية وهم رئيس مجلس الإدارة ومديرين والمشرفين الماليين وأعضاء مجالس الأندية العراقية وكانت أهم الأهداف والنتائج التي توصل لها البحث أن المناخ السياسي يؤثر تأثيراً كبيراً على مصادر التمويل في الأندية الرياضية العراقية أن المحددات البشرية وقلة الخبرات الموجودة داخل الأندية الرياضية تقلل من فرص الاستثمار داخل الأندية الرياضية العراقية، قلة الاهتمام بالنواحي الإعلامية وعدم وجود دعاية كافية للنادي الرياضي قلة المعلومات المتوافرة لدى النادي الرياضي حلول البيانات المطلوبة يؤثر سلباً على هذه الأندية الرياضية، مراعاة المناخ العام لتأثيره على مصادر التمويل في الأندية الرياضية العراقية، مراعاة توافر الخبرات من الموارد البشرية للتسويق بالأندية الرياضية ضرورة الاهتمام بوسائل الإعلام المختلفة، ضرورة توافر مركز معلومات عن موارد النادي وما يمكن استغلاله كمصدر للتمويل الذاتي.
