According to the article, the reasons for the tension between the Muslim Brotherhood and the regime in Jordan are not yet clear, bearing in mind the former’s permanent role of maintaining security and stability in the country, especially in the Arab Spring. Thus, a “shift in relation” is still controversial among analysts whether a step towards escalation or an isolated one in response to external pressures or internal considerations. Since the establishment of the kingdom, the mutual ties have been based on the freedom of action, the keeping of national unity, the maintenance of stability and security and peaceful civil activity at all levels. In spite of sporadic security and political nuisances by the state and the group respectively, co-existence has been the major relation. The royalty considers the Brotherhood a significant guarantee of stability for the state and security for the country. Therefore, the rules of such a relation has been unbreakable, even when it changed between the Islamists and many regimes in the region. In conclusion, as Jordan is distinguished for an order of accord where everybody is keen on maintaining national security and stability amidst a region of commotion, the negotiation table represents interest of all the parties. Therefore, the article recommends the principle of dialogue, which has become a necessity for the leaders of both sides as well as for the many wise people of the country.
