هدف البحث الى التعرف على روبرت ميرتون وإعادة صياغة النظرية الوظيفية مع دراسة تطبيقية لمفهومي الوظائف الظاهرة والكامنة. واستخدم البحث المنهج التاريخي والمنهج الوصفي. وتمثلت أدوات البحث في تحليل المضمون كأداة لتحليل البيانات المتعقلة بموضوع الدراسة. وجاءت نتائج البحث مؤكدة على ان الكتب اهتمت بالقيم والمثاليات بشكل يفوق أساليب التطبيق والممارسة العملية. كما أشارت النتائج الى ان الكتب شددت على قيم الجماعة التي تتمثل في التعاون والطاعة والإحسان والتراحم والصداقة والأمانة والانتماء. كما أكدت النتائج على وجود اهتمام اقل بقيم الفردية والانجاز والمتمثلة في الحرية والمساواة والرفض والتغير فلم تكن هناك موضوعات محددة لمعالجة هذه القيم. وأوصى البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات منها أن للمنهج الخفي دورا مهما وفاعلا في سلوك التلاميذ لذلك يلزم التركيز عليه كوسيط مباشر في نقل القيم والاتجاهات المرغوبة من خلال بناء المناهج وتطويرها. والاهتمام بخبرات المنهج الخفي وتوجيهها توجيها صحيحا والعمل على ضرورة تكاملها مع خبرات المنهج الرسمي حتى يتم توجيه الطلاب فكريا واجتماعيا وسلوكيا توجيها مرغوبا فيه. وضرورة تضمين المناهج الدراسية أساليب التفكير العلمي السليم وتنمية مهاراته لدى الطلاب. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018


The purpose of the research was to identify Robert Merton and rephrase the functional theory with an applied study of the concepts of the visible and latent functions. The research used the historical approach and the descriptive approach. The research tools is represented in the analysis of content as a tool to analyze the data relevant to the subject of the study. The results of the research confirmed that the books were concerned with the values and the ideals beyond the methods of the application and practice. The results also indicate that the books stressed the values of the group which is the cooperation, obedience, charity, compassion, friendship, honesty and the belonging. The results also confirmed that there is less attention to the values of the individual achievement represented by the freedom, equality, rejection and the change. There were no specific issues to address these values. The research recommended a set of the recommendations including that the hidden curriculum has an important and active role in the behavior of students so it is necessary to focus on it as a direct intermediary in the transfer of values and desired trends through the construction and development of the curricula . In addition to paying attention to the experiences of the hidden curriculum and guide them correctly and work on the need to integrate with the experience of the formal curriculum so that the students are guided intellectually, socially giving the desired behavioral guidance .
