|b This research studied the relation between narrative and history in Ibrahim Nasrallah’s novel “Qanadeel Malik Al-Jaleel”. The research focused on four aspects: Reality of genre, Narrative speech and the historical story, Reality of the historical vision, and Formation of character. \\ This research tried to explore the artistic value and the intellectual vision illustrated by presenting historical subject related to Sheikh Dhaher Al-Omar Al-Zaydani. \\ The research showed that the novel represents a problematic case in its relationship to history as both share the subject raised. The novel was characterized by its ability to: represent historical events, generate sensations in historical events – ones that surpass reporting to fiction, and give the text its literary form. \\ This research brought out that the idea of the novel and the novelist’s vision are represented in enhancing the level of presence of Dhaher Al-Zaydani’s character from a past-event level to a current-moment level. Thus, the character was made an absolute symbol who surpassed with his deeds the historical circumstance of his time.

|a يدرس هذا البحث علاقة السرد الروائي بالتاريخ في رواية إبراهيم نصر الله "قناديل ملك الجليل" من أربعة جوانب: حقيقة النوع الأدبي، والخطاب السردي والقصة التاريخية، وحقيقة الرؤية التاريخية، وتشكيل الشخصية. \\ وقد بني على محاولة الكشف عن القيمة الفنية والرؤية الفكرية التي مثلتها الرواية في تقديمها لمادة تاريخية ارتبطت بالشيخ ظاهر العمر الزيداني. \\ وقد أظهر البحث أن هذه الرواية تجسد حالة إشكالية في علاقتها بالتاريخ، لاشتراكهما في المادة المطروحة، وأن ميزتها تكمن في قدرة السرد الروائي على إعادة تمثيل الأحداث التاريخية، وتوليد الإحساس بالحدث التاريخي بما يتجاوز الإخبار إلى التخييل الروائي، وفي قدرة الخطاب السردي على منح النص قيمته الأدبية. \\ كما أظهر أن فكرة الرواية ورؤية كاتبها تتمثل في رفع مستوى حضور شخصية "ظاهر العمر الزيداني" من مستوى الحدث التاريخي المنتهي إلى أفق اللحظة الراهنة، ليكون بمثابة الرمز المطلق الذي تجاوز بصنيعه الظرفية التاريخية التي ظهر فيها.
