يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على الضغوط المهنية وعلاقتها بممارسة الرياضة الترويحية لدى الممرضات بمستشفيات القطاع الحكومي بمحافظة بني سويف، باستخدام المنهج الوصفي، وقد أجري البحث على عينة قوامها (87) ممرضة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية من الممرضات العاملات بمستشفيات "بني سويف العام، بني سويف الجامعي"، وتم استخدام مقياس الضغوط المهنية للممرضات، ومقياس تحديد مستويات المشاركة فى الأنشطة الرياضية الترويحية من تصميم الباحث، وأشارت أهم النتائج إلى أن ترتيب أبعاد مقياس الضغوط المهنية للممرضات لدي عينة البحث جاء كما يلي : طبيعة العمل- النفسي-الاجتماعي- الجسمي، كما جاء ترتيب أبعاد مقياس المشاركة في الأنشطة الرياضية الترويحية كما يلي : الوجدانى- السلبي- الإيجابي، يوجد ارتباط دال موجب بين البُعد الجسمي لمقياس الضغوط المهنية للممرضات والبُعد الايجابي في مقياس مستويات المشاركة فى الأنشطة الرياضية الترويحية، ويوجد ارتباط دال سالب بين البُعد الجسمي لمقياس الضغوط المهنية للممرضات والبُعد السلبي في مقياس مستويات المشاركة فى الأنشطة الرياضية الترويحية، ويوجد ارتباط دال موجب بين بُعد طبيعة العمل لمقياس الضغوط المهنية للممرضات والبُعد الوجداني في مقياس مستويات المشاركة فى الأنشطة الرياضية الترويحية، بينما لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين أبعاد (مقياس الضغوط المهنية للممرضات، ومقياس مستويات المشاركة في الأنشطة الرياضية الترويحية) وفقًا لمتغيري (العمر - سنوات الخبرة، وقد أوصي الباحث بأهمية إجراء دورات تدريبية ومحاضرات تعليمية ورش عمل وندوات للعاملين في مهنة التمريض بهدف التعرف على كيفية مواجهة الضغوط المهنية وكذلك الاستعانة بوسائل الاعلام الجماهرية في تخصيص برامج خاصة بالقطاع الصحي (أطباء هيئة تمريض – إداريين - عاملين) للتعريف بأهمية الدور الذي يقومون به لإدراك المجتمع بأهميتهم في قطاع الرعاية الصحية .
