تمثلت مشكلة البحث في أن السمات هي صلب الشخصية وهي التي تعبر عنها وتصف الفرد، فللتعرف على شخصية الفرد لابد من التعرف على مفردات شخصيته بشكل دقيق، هناك العديد من الدراسات والبحوث التي تطرقت إلى السمات الشخصية في التربية الرياضية وخاصة المدرب الرياضي في جميع الرياضات سواء الفردية أو الجماعية، كذلك دراسات سمات الشخصية للطلاب والأخصائيين الرياضيين في الجامعات ولكن لا توجد دراسات تطرقت إلى التعرف على سمات الشخصية لأخصائي الترويح الرياضي وذلك في حدود علم الباحث، الأمر الذى يتضح منه الحاجة إلى دراسة سمات الشخصية لأخصائي الترويح الرياضي والتي تؤثر بدورها في إعداده وتشكيل شخصيته، وبالتالي يستطيع تطوير أو تنمية هذه السمات بوسائل مختلفة. هدف البحث: بناء قائمة سمات الشخصية لأخصائي الترويح الرياضي من خلال التعرف:- سمة الاجتماعية- سمة الثقة بالنفس - سمة القيادية - سمة تحمل المسئولية - سمة الإبداع- سمة الطموح وفقاً لكل مجال من مجالات العمال. إجراءات البحث: تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، والقائمة كأداة لجمع البيانات. الاستنتاجات: - سمات الشخصية لأخصائي الترويح الرياضي تتمثل في (سمة الاجتماعية، سمة الثقة بالنفس، سمة القيادية، سمة تحمل المسئولية، سمة الإبداع، سمة الطموح). - أهم مجالات سوق العمل لأخصائي الترويح الرياضي تمثلت في (الأندية الرياضية، مراكز الشباب، إدارة رعاية الطلاب في الجامعات، كبار السن، معاقين). التوصيات: 1-اعتماد القائمة المقترحة كأسلوب موضوعي في تعميمها للحكم على السمات الشخصية لأخصائي الترويح الرياضي. 2- ضرورة قياس السمات الشخصية لأخصائي الترويح الرياضي وفقا للمفردات التي تم تحديدها لكل مجال عند التحاقهم بمجالات العمل المختلفة لمعرفة طبيعة الشخصية المناسبة لها.
