المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن الضغوط الحياتية لدي الأطفال الأيتام ودور خدمة الجماعة في مواجهتها. واعتمدت الدراسة على منهج المسح الاجتماعي. وتمثلت أدوات الدراسة في إعداد مقياس الضغوط الحياتية لدي الأطفال الأيتام واشتمل على الأبعاد التالية: (ضغوط الاقتصادية، والضغوط الشخصية، الضغوط المدرسية، والضغوط الاجتماعية). وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (86) أطفال من مؤسسة دار الرحمة للأيتام بمحافظة صنعاء. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلي ان الأطفال الأيتام بمؤسسة الرحمة تواجههم ضغوط اجتماعية والتي تمثلت علي التوالي في ضعف علاقاتهم الاجتماعية بسبب عدم ثقتهم في الأخرين، وكذلك لا يوجد انسجام أو توافق بينهم وبين زملائهم في الدار، وان الأطفال الأيتام يكرهون زملائهم عندما لا يقدمون لهم المساعدة في المواقف الصعبة، وأخيرا لا يوجد روح التعاون بين الأطفال الأيتام وبين زملائهم داخل الدار أو خارجها. وفي النهاية أوصت الدراسة بضرورة إقامة المحاضرات والندوات والمناقشات الجماعية مع الأطفال الأيتام بدور رعاية الأيتام والتي تهتم بقضايا الأطفال الأيتام ومشكلاتهم التي قد يتعرضون لها وتوضيح أبعادها وكيفية مواجهتها والتغلب عليها.

The study aimed to reveal the life pressures of orphaned children and the role of community service in confronting them. The study was based on the social survey methodology. The study tools were represented in preparing the measure of life pressures of orphans and included the following dimensions: (economic pressures, personal pressures, school pressures, social pressures). The study tools consisted of (86) children from Dar Al-Rahma Foundation for Orphans in Sana'a Governorate. The study results were that the orphan children in the Al-Rahma Foundation face social pressures, which are characterized by the weakness of their social relations because of their mistrust in others, and there is no harmony or consensus between them and their colleagues in the home. Orphan children hate their colleagues when they do not help them in the right situations, and finally there is the spirit of cooperation among children and orphans among their colleagues inside the house or outside. Finally, the study recommended the need to hold lectures, seminars and group discussions with orphaned children in the role of orphan care, which is concerned with the issues of orphan children and their problems that may be exposed to them and clarify its dimensions and how to confront and overcome them.
