المستخلص: استهدف البحث التعرف على مستوى قلق (الحالة)، مستوى التحصيل الدراسي في مادة الجمباز، أسباب العزوف عن الاتجاه لتخصص الجمباز، العلاقة بين القلق والتحصيل الدراسي وعزوف عينة البحث عن الاتجاه لتخصص الجمباز، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي (أسلوب المسح) وذلك لمناسبته لطبيعة البحث، وقد اشتملت عينه البحث على طلاب الفرقة الثالثة والبالغ عددهم (150) طالب تم استبعاد عدد (26) طالب لعدم انتظامهم بالحضور وعدد (24) طالب لإجراء التجربة الاستطلاعية عليهم لتصبح عينة البحث الأساسية (100) طالب، ومن أدوات ووسائل جمع البيانات استمارة قلق (الحالة)، استمارة استبيان أسباب عزوف الطلاب عن الاتجاه لتخصص الجمباز، استمارة تسجيل درجات الطلاب النهائية في مادة الجمباز. واستخدم الباحث المعالجات الإحصائية التالية المتوسط الحسابي، الانحراف المعياري، معامل الارتباط البسيط، وكانت أهم النتائج، ارتفاع مستوى قلق الحالة لدى الطلاب عينة البحث قبل أداء الاختبارات النهائية في مادة الجمباز، انخفاض مستوى التحصيل الدراسي للطلاب في مادة الجمباز إلى أقل من المتوسط، ارتفاع مستوى قلق الحالة قبل الامتحانات يؤدي إلى انخفاض التحصيل الدراسي في مادة الجمباز، وجود علاقة ارتباط موجبة ودالة إحصائيا بين مستوى قلق الحالة وعزوف الطلاب عن الاتجاه لتخصص الجمباز، وجود علاقة ارتباط عكسية ودالة إحصائيا بين مستوى التحصيل الدراسي وعزوف الطلاب عن الاتجاه لتخصص الجمباز، وجد علاقة ارتباطيه دالة إحصائيا بين مستوى قلق (الحالة) لدى طلاب الفرقة الثالثة بكلية التربية الرياضية للبنين بالزقازيق ومستوى التحصيل الدراسي في مادة الجمباز.

The research aimed to identify the level of anxiety (situation), the level of academic achievement in gymnastics, the reasons for reluctance to pursue the specialization in gymnastics, the relationship between anxiety and academic achievement, and the reluctance of research sample to pursue the specialization in gymnastics. The researcher used the descriptive approach (the survey method) due to its relevance to the nature of the research. The research sample included (150) third-year students. 26 students were excluded for their irregularity in attendance and (24) students to conduct an exploratory experiment on them bringing the primary research sample to (100) students. Among the tools and means of data collection are an anxiety (situation) form, a questionnaire for reasons of students’ reluctance to pursue the specialization in gymnastics, and a form to record students’ final grades in gymnastics. The researcher used the following statistical treatments: the arithmetic means, standard deviation, simple correlation coefficient. The most important results were: the high level of anxiety of the students, the research sample before taking the final exams in gymnastics, the decrease in the academic achievement of students in the subject of gymnastics to less than the average, the high level of anxiety of the situation before the exams lead to a decrease in academic achievement in gymnastics. The existence of a positive and statistically significant correlation between the level of situational anxiety and the reluctance of students to pursue the specialization in gymnastics, and the existence of an inverse and a statistically significant correlation between the level of academic achievement and students ’reluctance to pursue the specialization in gymnastics. The existence of a statistically significant correlation relationship between the level of anxiety (situation) among students of the third year of the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys in Zagazig and the level of academic achievement in gymnastics.
