| 520 | |b Old Arabic prose is rich with narrative texts that have the wide range of eloquence which is not found in our old literary works. Among it the art of anecdote that set the trend in the third century of Hijrah. Not to mention the representation of community issues and cultural values and conflicts that characterized the literature of this kind in this era, and opened its texts on topics of humor that tried hard to reflect events and different behaviors experienced by the Abbasid community. These are the events and behaviors embodied on the floor of Abbasi literature by the figures who believed in values and traditions. And invested in it all their linguistic and rhetorical potential energies, perhaps they might impose on literary and the life their principles and doctrine of thinking. We do not find it difficult if we consider the art of anecdote, as mentioned above, the best creative model adopted by al-Jahiz to portray the cultural religious and social conflicts. And then paints by such a text a quality eloquence which found in Hajjaj a starting point to expand the aesthetic of literary text. | ||
