المستخلص: يتناول هذا المقال الحديث عن علاقة عمان بشرق أفريقية منذ أقدم العصور مرورا بالعصور التاريخية اللاحقة، ليلقي الضوء على موضوع هام ألا وهو أبرز الهجرات العمانية إلى شرق أفريقيا، ليتناول أسباب تلك الهجرات، وفتراتها الزمنية، وأماكن استقرارها في شرق أفريقيا. كما أنه يركز الحديث عن أهم القبائل العمانية التي استقرت هناك أمثال بني الجلندي، والحرث، والنباهنة، والمزارعة، وكما يشير إلى النتائج المترتبة على هجرة تلك القبائل العمانية إلى شرق أفريقيا التي ساهمت بتكوين إمارات عربية عمانية نمت وازدهرت وشهد التاريخ بعظمتها، فكانت تلك المهاجر العمانية على الساحل الأفريقي الشرقي مصدر إشعاع حضاري ترتب عليها آثار سياسية، واجتماعية، واقتصادية، وثقافية، في مناطق ممباسا، وزنجبار، والصومال، وجزر القمر، وكلوة، وكينيا، وأوغندا، وتنزانيا، ومدغشقر، ونوردينان، ومناطق الداخل في الكونغو، ورواندا، وبوروندي، والبحيرات الاستوائية، وبحيرة ناسا، ومنابع نهر الزمبيري، وموزمبيق، وبحيرة تنجانيقا، وفكتوريا، وألبرت، وزيمبابوي، والكاميرون.

The article discusses the relationship between Oman and the East Africa from ancient historic times onwards .It shed light upon the significant Omani immigrations to East Africa by explaining the main reasons, mentioning the different periods of time of such immigrations, and locating the places of immigrations' settlements over there. In addition, the article also discuss the main tribes that settled over there, such as Bani AL Julanda, AL Harth, An-Nabahina, and AL Mazaree'a. It also points out to the consequences of the presence of Omani immigrations in East Africa. Such presence founded an Arab and Omani States that thrived and gained powers throughout the ages, Moreover, these immigrations had developed the certain Omani settlements in to a civilized area with a great significance; as reflected its effects positively on the political, social, economic, and cultural aspects of the Eastern cost of Africa. Such effect were obviously noticed in Mombasa, Zanzibar, Somalia, AL Qumar Islands, Kilwa, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Madagascar, Nordian, inner areas of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, the Tropical lakes, Nasa Lake, Sources of Zambiri River, Mozambique, Tinjaniqa, Victoria, Albert, Zimbabwe, and Cameron.
