Zionists have taken much care of different educational intuitions and research and cultural centers since the beginning of the Zionists’ immigration to Palestine in 1882 A.D. This is to respond to the educational and cultural needs of Jewish immigrants. Both the Zionists movement and the British Mandate on Palestine made the best of their efforts to establish the educational, research and cultural institutions. The Zionists movement and the British Mandate supported these institutions both tangibly and intangibly so as to establish the prospective Zionist State. On the other hand, both individual and collective Zionist associations started establishing educational institutions. Moreover, the Zionist movement increased its activities of constructing Zionist schools and the Hebrew University. They also established the Technician Institute and graduate studies schools. They also established research centers in all fields that helped in solving the problems of new Zionist settlers in Palestine. The Zionist movement also contributed to the development of different scientific schools and institutes. They also paid much attention to the cultural institutions and established many cultural centers so as to educate the Jewish community and foster the Zionist thought and ideas through writing and publishing books and articles, conducting symposiums, and maintaining the works of famous Jewish figures and institutions. By the time the Jews proclaimed the state of Israel, they already had established an educational system for all stages and established research and cultural centers of a high quality to serve the Zionist settlers.
