The Islamic law maintained the rights of prisoners in terms of theoretical laws, which were implemented by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the caliphs after him as they regarded them practical laws that have been used by the leaders and soldiers with prisoners of war later. They applied the rights of prisoners, which were unknown by human beings, and the controller of the commitment of those rights stems from the faith and the Muslim doctrine, so those human rights spread among peoples and nations. They realized how the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions treated prisoners in humane scene that was unknown to them, they implemented the right to forgiveness and not to murder for prisoners, and that killing the captive has never been an option for Islam. Actually, the total number of prisoners who were killed did not exceed fourteen prisoners of the total 7007 prisoners caught in the hands of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in all his wars, and the prisoners got their religious freedom, self-determination ,preservation of dignity and humane treatment, Also in the capture case, the right to medical treatment and not to torture, food, clothing and shelter is guaranteed to them, Caliphs also maintained those rights and defended them, that-has had a significant impact on many of the prisoners to convert to Islam and to provide great services to Islam and Muslims, That was at a time when Muslims were closer to God and to Islam than the current time, when we return back to tenacious to Islam, we're obligated to respect all human rights, protect and defend them. The history of Islam is full of stories that reinforce the practical implementation of those rights.
