هدف المقال إلى الكشف عن الوسطية والاعتدال والتصدي للعنف والتطرف بأنواعه. وتناول المقال الأثار السلبية للعنف والتطرف ومنها ترك ملايين الأطفال والشباب لمقاعد الدراسة ليمارسوا التسول والأعمال التي لا تتفق مع أعمارهم. وقتل مئات من العلماء والمبدعين والمفكرين من أبناء الأمة العربية. واختتم المقال بعدة توصيات منها أن نعود إلى الوسطية والاعتدال في تطبيق معتقداتنا وفى سلوكنا فالفضيلة وسط بين طرفين متناقضين هما الإفراط والتفريط. وعلينا أن نربى أبناءنا على الوسطية والاعتدال حتى تصبح سلوكا ملازما لهم في كل مناحي حياتهم. وأوصى المقال بضرورة مقاومة التطرف والعنف بكل أشكاله والتصدي له مهما كانت نتائج هذا التصدي فمن طبع على حب الوسطية والاعتدال سيقف سدا منيعا أمام أي بادرة للعنف والتطرف. وغالبية العنف والتطرف يعود لأسباب دينية ومذهبية. فعلى المجتمعات العربية والإسلامية أن تنشئ أبناءها وبناتها تنشئة إسلامية صحيحة غير قائمة على الشعائر والشعور بل قائمة على الإيمان الصحيح الذي يشمل جوانب الحياة النفسية الثلاثة الجانب العقلي والجانب العملي والجانب العاطفي الانفعالي. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The aim of the article was to identify moderation, reasonability, addressing violence and extremism with all its kinds. The article tackled to the negative effects of violence and extremism, including leaving millions of children and young people studying and school for begging and work that isn't fitting their age. It also discussed killing hundreds of scientists, innovators and intellectuals of the Arab nation. The article was concluded with several recommendations, including the return to moderation and reasonability in applying our beliefs and in our behavior as virtue is between two contrastive aspects which are dissipation and redundant. We have to educate our children on moderation and reasonability until they become an integral part of their lives. The article recommended the need to resist extremism and violence in all its forms and to face it whatever the consequences of this response are. The one who is brought up on the love of moderation and reasonability will stand as a dam against any sign of violence and extremism. The majority of the violence and extremism is due to religious and sectarian reasons. Arab and Islamic societies should raise their sons and daughters on a true Islamic education that is not based on rituals and feelings but based on the true faith that includes the three aspects of mental life, which are the mental aspect, the practical aspect and the emotional passionate aspect.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
