هدف المقالة التعرف على مظاهر التطرف وآثاره على الفرد والمجتمع. وناقش المقال مظاهر التطرف وذكر منها التعصب بالرأي لا يسمح لنفسه بالحوار مع الآخر. والعنف في التعامل والخشونة في الأسلوب دون الحسنى والاعتراف بالرأي الآخر وغيرها من المظاهر. وتطرق إلى آثار التطرف ومنها الانغلاق بالتفكير والتطرف يؤدي إلى الكثير من الكوارث والتدني في الإنتاج. والأثر السلبي في التفكير الذي ينعكس على الشباب المبدع والمفكر والمنتج. كما ناقش مجالات التطرف في جميع مجالات الحياة السياسية والدينية والاجتماعية. والأدوار الرئيسية للمؤسسات التربوية والاجتماعية. وتوصلت النتائج إلى أن التطرف قد يعني العزلة ومقاطعة الناس والحقد على الآخرين والبعد عن التوسط والاعتدال والخروج عن التقليد والأعراف الاجتماعية. وان الأسرة مسؤولة عن شخصية الفرد لينشأ على المودة والتراحم واحترام الآخرين ويكون شخصا فاعلا يشارك في بناء الوطن ونهضته وازدهاره. وأوصي المقال بضرورة عقد دورات وندوات تثقيفية وتوعوية للوقاية من التطرف لتعديل فكر الشباب وتحسينه.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The goal of the article was to identify the manifestations of extremism and its impacts on the individual and society. The article discussed manifestations of extremism and mentioned some of them, for example, dogmatism does not allow oneself to dialogue with the other, violence in dealing and harshness in the way of dealing without the grace or accepting of the other opinion and other manifestations. The article tackled the effects of extremism, including the closure of thinking and extremism, which lead to many disasters and the decline in production. It also mentioned the negative impact of thinking that is reflected on the innovative, creative and productive young people. Moreover, the article discussed aspects of extremism in all fields of political, religious and social life and the main roles of educational and social institutions. The results found that extremism might mean isolation, boycotting people, nursing grudge against others, avoiding reasonability and moderation, and not following tradition and social norms. The results also mentioned that the family is responsible for the personality of the individual to be raised on the intimateness, compassion and respect for others and to be an active person involved in building the nation and its rise and prosperity.
