المستخلص: بدأ وعي العلماء والباحثين من المهتمين بدراسة العلاقات المختلفة بين النفس والجسم يزداد يوم بعد اخر وذلك بفضل ما حدث من تطور علمي مطرد في كلا المجالين حتى ازدهرت في ايامنا الحاضرة دراسة النفس من الناحيتين التشريحية الوظيفية بمقابل دراسة الجسم من النواحي النفسية وقد شكلت هذه العلاقات المتبادلة ما يسمى الان بالدراسات النفس جسمانية او بعلم النفس الفسيولوجي ."ان جهاز الغدد الصماء هو يختص باستقبال و ارسال رسائل كيمياوية عن طريق الدم لتنظيم نشاط الخلايا في اجزاء الجسم المختلفة وهو يعد ابطأ من النظام العصبي , بصفة وسيلة اتصال كيمياوي حيث يستغرق وصول الرسائل الكيمياوية منه حوالي (15) ثانية , ان هذه الغدد تفرز مواد كيماوية تسمى بالهرمونات عبارة عن مواد زلالية تفرزها الغدد من مناطق محددة ومعروفة في جسم الكائن الحي , تنتقل الهرمونات الى الدم مباشرة ,مثلا ان هرمون الكورتيزول تفرزه قشرة الكظر في الغدة الكظرية . ويهدف البحث الى - معرفة العلاقة بين مستوى افراز هرمون الكورتيزول وأوزان لاعبي نادي الكوفة بكرة اليد .

Awareness of scientists and researchers, who are interested in studying the different relationships between the self and body, began to increase day after day, thanks to what happened from a scientific steady evolution in both areas so thatpsychological study nowadays flourished from both anatomical functional in comparison to the study of a body with respect to the psychological aspects. These mutual relationships accounted for what is called now psycho-physical studies or physiologic psychology. The endocrine glands system is specialized to receive and send chemical messages through the bloodstream to regulate the activity of cells in different parts of the body, which is slower than the nervous system, as a means of chemical communication, as the chemical messages takes around (15) seconds to be received. These glands secrete chemicals called hormone, which is albumen substances produced by glands of specific and well-known areas in the body of the human being. hormones transmitted directly into the blood, For example, the cortisol hormone produced by the adrenal cortex in the adrenal gland. The research aims to - Knowing the relationship between the level of secretion of the cortisol hormone and the weight of the players of Al-Kufa club in handball.
