الإسلام هو الدين الذي تضمن نظام من الله تعالى سابق في وجوده لوجود الفرد والمجتمع والدولة باعتباره دين الفطرة، لذلك فإن فكرة حقوق الإنسان في نظر هذا الدين هي منحة ربانية وليست منحة من دولة أو حاكم، وهي ذات بعد أخلاقي عميق، وتقوم على نفس الأسس التي يقوم عليها الإسلام، وهي الشورى باعتبارها وسيلة للمشاركة في الحكم، والعدل والمساواة باعتبارهما من أهم متطلبات حياة الفرد والمجتمع وديمومة الدول، والحرية المقيدة بالشريعة الإسلامية وهي أساس كل تكليف شرعي، ومسؤولية الحاكم والتي تجسدت في نهج الخلفاء الراشدين واعترافهم بمسؤوليتهم عن أعمالهم، وعلى مستوى العلاقات الخارجية يؤكد الإسلام على وحدة الجنس البشري والحث على ضرورة احترام حقوق الآخرين طالما أن حقوقهم لا تضر بحقوق المسلمين لذلك فإن فكرة حقوق الإنسان في الإسلام لها ارتباط وثيق بهذا الدين.
Islam is the religion that bears an organization of God that has never existed before because of the existence of the individual, the state and society that is a birthright religion. The idea of human rights from the perspective of this religion is a divine gift and not a gift from the governor or the state. Indeed, it has a profound moral dimension which is based on the same basis as that of Islam that is Shura which is a means of participation in the judgment, justice and equality that are critical needs in the life of the individual and the society and the continuity of the country, freedom restricted by Islamic Sharia is the basis of any legal ability and responsibility of the governor which is materialized in the way of Rightly-Guided Caliphs and their recognition of their responsibility for their actions. In terms of foreign relations, Islam confirms the unity of the human sex and incitement to the need to the respect of others rights as their rights do not harm the rights of Muslims, Thus, the idea of human rights in Islam is related to religion .
