|a شكل اهتمامات أديب ما وكتاباته عن بلد ما موضوعا ثريا للدارسات المقارنة. ويتناول هذا المقال بعض ما كتبه الأديب الفرنسي أندريه جيد (1) عن الجزائر، ومدى تفاعله مع هذا البلد، بكل مقوماته: من دين وحضارة، وشعب، وعادات وتقاليد... ما يميز هذه الكتابات من واقعية وخيال وحقيقة وما نتج عنها من فن وإبداع. لا أحد يشك بأن الجزائر فتقت خيال "جيد" وفتحت عينيه على عالم طالما تحمس لاكتشافه والعيش بين أبنائه، لأنه ببساطة عالم يبعث على الطمأنينة والراحة من خلال طبيعة خلابة وصحراء فاتنة وأناس طيبين... إنها الصورة التي رسمها الكاتب للجزائر بحب كبير وحماس فياض... صورة تستدعي الوقوف عندها مليا لفك رموزها وقراءة أبعادها.
|b This article deals with some of André Gide’s writings about Algeria, a country that he admired and that influenced him a lot through its different components: religion, culture, people, traditions and customs. The article also deals with the characteristics of André Gide's writings like: the relations between reality and imagination. No doubt, Algeria is the fulcrum point around which André Gide’s imagination has greatly developed. It has enabled him to see a world that he has ever needed to discover and belong to. For him, -Algeria- with its desert and nature has given him two pré-requisite elements that he wants to get: peace and tranquility. It is a fantastic image of Algeria that Gide has adequately presented to his readers, with love and enthusiasm.
|d L’intérêt que porte tout homme de lettres à un pays et les œuvres qu’il lui consacre constituent un riche sujet pour la littérature comparée. Cet article s’intéresse aux échos de l’Algérie dans l’œuvre d’André Gide, et l’influence qu’elle a eu sur lui, à travers toutes ses composantes : religion, culture, peuple, traditions et coutumes… ce qui a caractérisé ces écrits (réalisme, imagination et réalité)… et ce qui en a résulté : art et romantisme. Personne ne doute que l’Algérie a bien développé l’imagination de Gide et a ouvert ses yeux sur un monde dont il a envie de découvrir et d’y vivre: un monde où il aspire paix et tranquillité par sa nature et son désert fantastiques… c’est une image exceptionnelle de l’Algérie que Gide a présenté aux lecteurs avec un grand amour et un enthousiasme infini.
