|a قد يتحول العقاب عن أهدافه التوجيهية التأديبية إذا مورس بشكل غير مدروس، بحيث يتلقى التلميذ أنواعا عديدة من العقوبات البدنية _أهمها الضرب_ والتي تخلف في نفسه وجسده آثارا سلبية قد تحول دون رجوعه لمقاعد الدراسة إلى الأبد، ولا تتوقف الآثار السلبية على التلميذ فحسب بل قد لا يسلم منها ممارس الفعل العقابي نفسه (المدرس)، حيث تزيده توترا واضطرابا مما يضعف عطاءه وبذله، وقد تتعدى تلك الآثار فتمس كل أطراف المحيط المدرسي وهو ما قد يجعل أهداف العلمية التعليمية لا تتحقق.
|b Punishment is meant to be educational. It may however, if not well thought, drift away from its initial goals. Learners can be the victim of many physical punishments, like beating hich is the most severe of them and can have many negative effects on the learner motivation of learning; the teacher performance may also be affected as he is part of the educational process. Hence, the whole school sector which aims are to instill positive values and a knowhow to learners becomes in able to promote them.
|d La punition scolaire pourrait dévier de ses objectifs et s'avérer incorrecte si elle se pratique sans être convenablement étudiée par rapport aux objectifs du processus pédagogique, notamment quand l’élève est exposé à des châtiments corporels qui le poussent parfois à rejeter l'école et refuser d'y retourner. Ce type de sanction infligé à l'élève freine également les capacités de l’enseignant qui devient angoissé et déstabilisé et détourne ainsi le champ scolaire de ses objectifs nobles, établis en relation avec la bonne éducation et les valeurs pour lesquelles ce champ est conçu.
