|a بالرغم من مرور خمسين سنة على صدور رواية " موسم الهجرة إلى الشمال" للروائي السوداني الراحل الطيب صالح (صدرت الرواية متسلسلة في مجلة الحوار سنة 1966)، إلاّ أنّها لا تزال تُعدّ من طرف النقاد إحدى أفضل الروايات العربية وأعنفها التي تناولت علاقة الأنا العربي بالآخر الغربي ضمن موضوع الصراع الحضاري بيننا وبين الغرب.\nومن هنا جاءت هذه الدراسة لتميط اللثام عن جانب مخفي آخر من جوانب هذه الرواية الرمز. تطرح رواية " الموسم" بين صفحاتها إيديولوجيتين متضادتين تتصارعان فيما بينهما وتتبادلان مراكز القوة والضعف: إنهما ثنائية الرجولة والأنوثة. بل إنّ هذه الرواية تقوم بتجنيس العلاقات الحضارية بين الغرب والشرق لتجعل من الشرق رجلا ومن الغرب أنثى أو إناث، حيث يصبح الكذب والجنس هو المحك بينهما.\nلكنّ الجنس في « موسم الهجرة إلى الشمال » يختلف عمّا هو موجود في الروايات الحضارية الأخرى. فهو في هذه الرواية عبارة عن مشروع انتـقام. الجنس هو عامل هدم للوجود وإفناء، بدلا من أن يكون عامل بناء وبقاء؛ بل إنّ الجنس هنا هو معادل للموت، إنه أقصى درجات العنف في هذا الصّراع الأزلي بين الشرق والغرب في الرواية العربية الحضارية

|f Even though 50 years have passed since the novel “The season of migration to the North” by the late Sudanese novelist At-Tayyeb Saleh (which was issued as a series in the “Hiwar” magazine in 1966), it still nevertheless remains considered by the critics to be one of the best Arab novels and most violent which dealt with the relationship of the Arab ego with the western other, within the subject of the civilizational clash between us and the West. \nIn light of this, this research has come to uncover a hidden aspect from the aspects of this novel. The novel “The Season” presents two opposing ideologies, in its pages, involved in clash between themselves and exchanging centres of strength and weakness; dual masculinity and femininity. Indeed, this novel employs the genderism of the civilizational relations between the West and the East, making the East a man and the West female or females, in the case where lying and gender represents the criterion between them.\nHowever, the gender in “The season of migration to the North” differs from what is present in other civilizational novels. That is because in this novel it acts as an expression of revenge. The gender is a destructive factor to existence and of extinction, instead of being a factor of building and survival. Indeed, the gender here is equivalent to death. It represents the highest levels of violence in this eternal struggle between the East and the West in respect to the Arabic civilizational novel.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
