المستخلص: تتميز القصة القصيرة عند الطيب صالح بمعانيها الإيحائية العميقة التي يخبئها بعبقريته وراء السرد. وفي قصة (أغنية حب) تُظْهِرُ القصة سيمياء العربي والغربي عبر معانيها الإيحائية الخفية؛ فالقصة بعنوانها، وفضائها النصي المتمثل في علامات الترقيم والبياض والسواد توحي بجرأة الشخصية الغربية ومبادرتها وحزمها، وعجز الشخصية العربية وترددها. وهذه المعاني تأكدها القراءة العميقة للبنى النصية في القصة، فهذه البنى تمتلك معاني إيحائية في بنيتها العميقة؛ فالبنية اللفظية للنص توحي بسلبية البداية والنهاية بالنسبة للشخصية العربية، وفي الزمانية يسيطر الزمن الماضي والزمن الحاضر على شخصية العربي، وتنفرد شخصية الغربي بالمستقبل. وإذا كان النص لم يذكر الشخصيات صراحةً، فإن بنيتي المكان والشخصيات قد تكفلتا بذلك؛ فهي غربية جريئة مبادرة لا تحب التردد ولا المترددين، وهو عربي متردد عاجز حائر، قابع في آلام ماضيه وحاضره

The story of (Altaib Saleh) is distinguished by its deep and connotative meanings that are hidden in its genius narrative. In his song called (The Song of Love) , the story explores the Arab and the Western semiotics through its connotative hidden meanings, so the story with its title and the textual space that is represented in the punctuation marks, whiteness and blackness indicate to the boldness of the western character with its intiative and determination, yet the disability and the hesitation of the Arab character. All these meanings are emphasized through the deep readings to the textual structures do have connotative meanings in their deep structures, so the verbal structure of the text negatively refers to the negative beginning and the negative ending of the character. In the respect of time, the past tense dominates over the present tense regarding the Arab character whereas the Western character is distinguished with the future. Even if the text doesn't mention the characters frankly, the structure of the setting and the characters are able and adequate to refer to that, so the Western characters are bold, enterprising and they don't like to be hesitant nor they like those who are hesitant. The Arab character is always confused and hesitant which is still lying in the pains of the past and present
