المستخلص: ينهض مفهوم " المفارقة "على تحقق المسافة التضادية الجمالية بين مشهدين أو اعتقادين أو موقفين أو رأيين ، بحيث يشكل المعلَن منهما مفاجأة للمتلقي ، إن كان سلبياً أو إيجابياً، أو متوافقاً مع الوعي الاجتماعي أو مخالفاً له .
من هذا التصور يمكن الحديث عن " المفارقة " بوصفها بنية دالة في الخطاب، ينطلق منها النص ويعود إليها ، ويمكن عدّها محسنّات بديعية، ويمكن عدّها متواليات دالة ، موزّعة في النص ، لخدمة معان جزئية . ولذلك تم إنجاز البحث عبر مجالين: تأطير نظري في اللغة والاصطلاح والدراسات النقدية ، وتطبيق توضيحي يشتغل في تحليل حكاية " الخليفة والوالي الفقير " بوصفها قصة وعظية حالمة ؛ ولأنها تعبير عن الحلم ، تقع على مسافة تضادية كبيرة مع الواقع ، ولا يمكن تحقق جمالياتِ خطابها البلاغي ، إلا عبر بنائها على مفارقة جوهرية ، هي علاقة السلطة بالمال ، ثم دعمها بـ " مفارقات إسنادية " تعزز الخطاب المهيمن فيها .

The concept of “the paradox” arises upon the realization of the antithetic aesthetic space between two outlooks, or two beliefs, or two positions or two opinions, in the case where the declared one of the two is a surprise to the recipient; whether positive or negative, or in conformity with social consciousness or contrary to it.
From this perspective, it is possible to talk about “the paradox” as an indicative structure in relation to the address, from which comes the text and to which it returns. It is possible to count them to be rhetorical enhancements, just as it is possible to count them as being sequential indicators, distributed within the text, to serve the partial meanings. For that reason, the research was completed across two areas:
A theoretical framework in relation to language, terminology and critical studies, and an illustrative application used to analyze the story “The Khalifah and the poor governor”, in its description as being a dreamy exhortative tale and because it is an expression of the dream, falling upon a major antithetic space with the reality, whilst it is not possible to realize the aesthetics of rhetorical discourse except by building it upon a fundamental paradox; the relationship between authority and money, then supporting it by “predicative paradoxes” which strengthen the dominant discourse in it.
