This research sheds light on some of the cultural scenes of the Arabian Peninsula cities, based on the geographical literature, whose area of information on this topic has exceeded the small space allocated by the historical codes. The study focused on examples of cities in the eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula, such as Al Ahsa, Hajr, Qatif, Bahrain, Sohar, and Qalhat. Research in the first section focused on the role of geographical literature in determining the locations of these cities and their urban area. The research, based on the scattered text , to determine their location on the latitude and longitude, control their names and analysis of their linguistic derivations. Despite the scarcity of texts related to the urban area of the eastern cities of the Arabian Peninsula in the geographical texts and the journeys, what is available has allowed the shedding of a beam of light on this side, especially the city walls and doors and the surrounding trenches. It also allowed examining the dwellings, houses and building materials, as well as the main monuments of religious architecture, and the density of population within some of the cities under study. The research in the second section dealt with the economic wealth of the cities of the east of the Arabian Peninsula, which allowed identifying the agricultural landscape, water resources, and pastoral activity. Geographical texts have enabled the monitoring of trades and industries, the identification of maritime and land routes, the distance between them, the transformation of some cities into commercial ports and the flourishing domestic markets. This is in addition to information about taxes and other social issues that have been overlooked by historical codes.
