يتضمن البحث موقف أهل السنة من أفضلية الأنبياء عليهم السلام على غيرهم من البشر، وبيان اعتقاد الشيعة في تفضيل الأئمة الاثني عشر على الأنبياء عليهم السلام، وأسباب تفضيل الأئمة الاثني عشر على الأنبياء عليهم السلام، ومناقشتها، وأدلة الشيعة في تفضيل الأئمة الاثني عشر على الأنبياء عليهم السلام، ومناقشتها. وقد ثبت أن هناك من الشيعة المتقدمين والمعاصرين من يفضل الأئمة على جميع الأنبياء عليهم السلام بما فيهم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، وهذا جفاء وانتقاص له عليه الصلاة والسلام ولإخوانه الأنبياء عليهم السلام. ولم تذكر الشيعة أي دليل شرعي يعتمدون عليه في صحة معتقدهم، سوى ما اختلقت من روايات نسبتها كذباً إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وإلى أئمتهم تدل على أفضلية الأئمة على جميع الأنبياء عليهم السلام. وأن هذه الروايات من وضع الهدامين أصحاب العقائد الفاسدة. إن أفضلية الأنبياء عليهم السلام على من سواهم من الناس هو معتقد أهل السنة والجماعة، إذ هو من العقائد الثابتة بالكتاب والسنة وصريح العقل، ومنكرها كافر عند أهل السنة والجماعة.
This paper elaborates on the preference of Allah's prophets over all humans according to Sunnite Islam. It further explains the position of Shiites towards preferring twelve imams in their doctrine over the prophets of Allah, why they preferred these imams over the Prophets in a discussion of the evidences Shiites cited to support their preference of their twelve imams over the Prophets. The paper cites testimonials that prove that Shiites, ancient and modem, preferred their imams over the Prophets of Allah, May Prayers and Peace Be Upon Them, even over Prophet Mohammed, Prayers and Peace Be Upon Him, which is unfair and unreal. Shiite, however, did not provide sound jurist testimonies congruent with Islamic Sharia which can support their claimed preferences. Their testimonials are only invented stories and narratives falsely attributed to Prophet Mohamed, Prayers and Peace Be Upon Him, and sayings of their clergy that their twelve imams have an alleged preference over God's apostles. The author refutes these claims and scraps them as inventions of corrupt jurists who have entertained corrupt doctrines. The author stated that God's apostles and prophets, Prayers and Peace Be Upon Them, have preference over mankind emphasizing that of this is the doctrine of Sunnite Muslims - an established dogma deeply rooted in the Qur'an, the Sunna, traditions and sayings of Prophet Mohamed, and sound reasoning. If anyone denies this doctrine, they will be considered infidels by the Sunna.
