تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على تأثير المتغيرات الديموجرانية لعينة البحث على المساندة الاجتماعية لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ، والتعرف على تأثير المتغيرات الديموجرانية لعينة البحث على المهارات الحياتية لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ، والكشف عن العلاقة بين محاور استبانة المساندة الاجتماعية لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ومحاور استبانة المهارات الحياتية لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة . وتكونت عينة البحث من (206) أسرة لديها ابن واحد على الأقل من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة (إعاقة ذهنية) . وقد توصلت الدراسة إلي: • وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد العينة في المساندة الاجتماعية تبعا لمتغيرات الدراسة. • وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد العينة في المهارات الحياتية تبعا لمتغيرات الدراسة. • وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين محاور استبانة المساندة الاجتماعية لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة وبين محاور استبانة المهارات الحياتية لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة. • اختلاف نسبة مشاركة المتغيرات المؤثرة على المساندة الاجتماعية لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة. • اختلاف نسبة مشاركة المتغيرات المؤثرة على تنمية المهارات الحياتية لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة. وقد أوصت الدراسة بــ: • نشر الوعي بضرورة المساندة الاجتماعية لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة؛ من خلال عقد الندوات والمؤتمرات التي تتيح عرض الواقع، واستحداث الجديد، والتطلع نحو ما هو أفضل؛ تحت رعاية وإشراف المتخصصين في مجال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، وذلك حتى يتسنى لهم ممارسة حياتهم بفعالية أكبر. • التأكيد على أهمية دور المساندة الاجتماعية لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة؛ من خلال تنظيم الحملات التوعوية، والاستفادة من وسائل الإعلام المختلفة (المقروءة والمسموعة والمرئية)؛ وإعداد برامج إعلامية تستهدف التوعية العامة لأسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.

The study recommended that: - raise awareness of the need of social support to the families of people with special needs; through holding seminars and conferences that allow Showing fact, the new introduction, and looking toward what is best; under the care and supervision of specialists in the field with special needs, so that they can exercise their lives more effectively. - emphasize the importance of the role of social support to the families of people with special needs; by organizing awareness campaigns, making use of different media (print and audio-visual); and preparation of information programs aimed at public awareness to the families of people with special needs.
