المستخلص: The last decade witnessed a growing number of reality television programmes that revolves around rich people. This research sets out to investigate how millionairesare represented in reality television programmes in the United Kingdom and specifically focusing on two case studies Dragons’ Den and The Secret Millionaire. Using a comparative textual analysis the researchfound that there aresimilar representations and stereotyping of millionaires in both programmes which was consistent with other media researches and at the same time different representations of this important group of people. Also, research have unveiled that in general millionaires are represented more positively then what previous studies have indicated.
