لقد تطابقت الحقائق العلمية مع الحقائق التي أخبر بها القرآن الكريم لما جاء في خلق الكون بأبعاده الثلاثة السماوات والأرض وخلق الحياة ونشأتها على كوكب الأرض . وقد جاء بالتنزيل إن نشأة الكون وبدايته كانت دخاناً تجمع على شكل جرم واحد ثم انفصل بعضه عن بعض بتدخل المشيئة الإلهية فتكونت السماوات السبع والأرضين، وقد أشار إليها القرآن الكريم بعملية الفتق بعد الرتق وسماها العلم الحديث بنظرية الـ Big Bang ثم أخذ الكون في التمدد إلى يومنا هذا ثم يحدث انكماش أشار إليه القرآن بالطي)يوم نطوي السماء( فيطوي الكون طياً بعضه على بعض والتي سماها علماء الكونيات بنظرية الـ Big Crunsh وهي نهاية الكون وفناءه، كما تطابقت نظريات العلم الحديث لما جاء في القرآن الكريم في يتعلق بكوكب الأرض، كرويته ودورانه وإعداده وتهيئته ليكون صالحاً للحياة، وقد أشار القرآن الكريم أيضاً إلى حقيقة غيبية هي أن السموات سبع والأرض مثلها فهل المثلية التي جاء ذكرها هي مثلية عدد فتكون الأرض سبعاً مثل السماوات أم هي مثلية في الخلق والإبداع وهذا محل خلاف ونزاع بين علماء الدين وعلماء الكونيات وسيأتي بسط الكلام عن هذه المسألة في ثنايا هذا البحث.
The scientific facts have correlated the Holy Quran- told facts with the creation of universe in its three dimensions of the heavens, the earth and the creation and rise of life on the earth. According to the Quran revelation, it has been notified that the rise and start of the universe was the fume which combined in a form of one celestial body and then separated apart by the will of the Almighty Allah, hence, becoming the seven heavens and the earth. This process was viewed by the Holy Quran as the crack after darning process as equivalent to the so- called (Big Bang) in the modern science. Then, \ the universe began expanding till the present day to reach a contraction as indicated by the Holy Quran. In the verse: (One day we will fold the heavens) during which the universe will be folded parts on parts which was known in the cosmological model of the (Big Crunch) denoting the end and death of the universe. Also, the modern science has correlated with what mentioned in the Holy Quran concerning the earth, planet, its spherecity, rotation and its being appropriate to be valid for living. Moreover, the Holy Quran has also indicated to a hidden fact that the heavens are seven and the earth as well a matter which poses a question of whether this similarity is in number expecting the existence of seven earths or in the creation, a matter which became controversial and conflicting among the religious and cosmologists. \ Thus, this issue will be discussed throughout the course of this work.
