|d Le texte est depuis des siècles un moyen de communication entre les êtres humains. Il est constitué de mots, de phrases, et de ponctuations qui enrichissent le contenu et rythment la lecture. Cependant le texte a récemment subit quelques évolutions en passant de la communication textuelle manuscrite à la communication textuelle électronique. Parmi les résultats de ce passage est la naissance d’un procédé spécifique appelé les smileys1. Ces derniers se présentent sous forme d’un visage souriant constitué d’une combinaison de caractères typographiques comme :-) ou d’une petite image graphique comme . Dans cet article, nous essayerons de situer les smileys vis-à-vis du texte et d’analyser leur rôle dans la communication textuelle électronique afin de déterminer leur place en tant qu’outil linguistique. Pour ce fait, il convient de trouver quelles fonctions ils occupent et de les comparer aux fonctions des outils traditionnels de communication écrite ou orale. A ce titre, le système de ponctuation nous semble le plus proche des smileys. A travers l’analyse d’un corpus constitué de plusieurs messages tirés de trois modes de communication électronique (tchat, forum et blog), nous essayerons de déterminer s’il est possible de classer les smileys dans la catégorie grammaticale de la ponctuation.

|b The text has been for centuries a means of communication between human beings. It is made up of words, sentences and punctuation that enrich the content and give a certain rhythm to the reading. However, the text underwent some evolutions recently from the handwritten textual communication to the electronic textual communication. Among the results of this changeover: the appearance of a specific procedure called smileys. The latter are in the form of a smiley face made of a combination of typefaces like :- ) or a small graphic image like . In this essay, we will try to locate the smileys in the text and analyze their role in the electronic textual communication in order to determine their place as a linguistic tool. This is why it is necessary to find what functions they occupy to compare them with the functions of the traditional written or oral tools. Therefore, we think that the system of punctuation seems the closest to smileys. Through the analysis of a corpus consisting of several messages from three electronic modes of communication (chat, forum and blog), we will try to determine if it is possible to classify the smileys in the grammatical category of punctuation. ...

|a يعتبر النص منذ قرون وسيلة للاتصال بين البشر. إذ يتكون من كلمات وجمل وعلامات؛ وقف تثري فحواه وتصفي إيقاعا معينا على طريقة قراءته. إلا أنه قد خضع مؤخرا لجملة من التطورات بالانتقال من الاتصال النصي المكتوب بخط اليد إلى الاتصال النصي الإلكتروني. ومن بين نتائج هذا الانتقال نجد ظهور طريقة معينة تدعى (الوجوه الضاحكة) وتتمثل هذه الأخيرة في شكل وجه مبتسم مكون من مزيج من العلامات الكتابية مثل :) أو صورة بيانية صغيرة مثل سنحاول من خلال هذه المقالة ضبط مكانة الوجوه الضاحكة في النصوص وتحليل دورها في الاتصال النصي الإلكتروني من أجل تحديد مكانتها كأداة لسانية. وعليه يستحسن معرفة الوظائف التي تشغلها هذه الأشكال ثم مقارنتها مع وظائف الأدوات اللسانية التقليدية الخاصة بالاتصال الكتابي أو الشفهي. بناء على هذا، فقد بدى لنا أن نظام علامات الوقف هو الاقرب إلى ما يسمى بالوجوه الضاحكة. ومن خلال تحليل مدونة بحث تتمثل في العديد من الرسائل النصية المأخوذة من ثلاثة أشكال للاتصال الإلكتروني (الدردشة والمنتديات وصفحات الانترنت "blog"، سنحاول تحديد إمكانية تصنيف الوجوه الضاحكة نحويا في خانة علامات الوقف. ...
