520		\|b This research is on the da’wah struggle and its methods which were applied by Shaykh Uthman bn foduwe for the reformation of Muslim communities in Hausa land in Northern Nigeria. The research has shed more light on the people’s favourable mass response to the Shaykh’s da’wah which led to the total reform of the society (Tajdid) and establishment of a Caliphate known as Sokoto caliphate.
