هدف المقال إلى تسليط الضوء على مراصد البيانات المباشرة وقضية تنمية المجموعات في المكتبات. حيث ناقش المقال الترابط بين مراصد البيانات المباشرة والقضايا المتعلقة بإدارة وتنمية المجموعة المكتبية. وأهمية الموازنة بين تنمية المجموعات وبين الوصول إلى المعلومات عن طريق الاتصال المباشر وأضرار عدم تحقيق هذه الموازنة. وتناول قضية الملكية وطرح تسأل هل الأفضل للمكتبة أن تمتلك المعلومات أم الأفضل لها الوصول لها. كما تطرق المقال إلى صعوبة عملية تنمية المجموعات. وقضية الوصول في مواجهة الملكية وذلك على المستويات المحلية والإقليمية والدولية. وأشار المقال إلى أهمية مناقشة قضية تنمية المجموعات. وتوصل المقال إلى أن الاتجاه نحو زيادة الاعتماد على المراصد والمعلومات التي ترتدى زيا إلكترونيا وتقليل المصادر الورقية طالما أن الاتجاه العالمي الآن نحو هذا الشكل من المعلومات. حيث لا يمكن فرض استراتيجية ثابتة يمكن أن تعمل بها المكتبات في ظل هذه التحديات. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018



The aim of this article is to highlight the observatories of the direct data and the issue of the group development in the libraries. The article discussed the interrelationship between the observatories of the direct data and the issues related to the management and the development of the office group, and the importance of balancing the development of the groups and access to the information through the direct contact and the damage of failure to achieve this balance. The article addressed the issue of the property and asking whether it is better for the library to have the information or to access to the information. The article also referred to the difficulty of the group development, and the issue of the access in facing the property at the local, regional and international levels. The article noted the importance of discussing the issue of the group development. The article concluded that the trend towards increasing the reliance on the observatories and the information characterized by the electronic means and reducing the paper sources as long as the global trend is now towards this form of information, where a consistent strategy can not be imposed by the libraries in these challenges.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
