هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر الزحف العمراني على الأراضي الزراعية بمنطقة المرج مبينة تطور استخدامات الأراضي ومراحل التوسع العمراني لمدينة المرج وأسباب هذا الزحف العمراني، فقد لعبت عوامل سياسية، واقتصادية، واجتماعية دورا رئيسا في هذا الزحف، وأدى استثمار عائدات النفط في مشاريع التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والعمرانية بالدولة وتطوير المشاريع الصناعية والزراعية بالمرج خاصة في الفترة بين عامي 1973- 1984 إلى زيادة أعداد المهاجرين الوافدين، إضافة إلى النمو السكاني للمدينة. وبالتالي ازدياد السكان وتوسع المدينة بمرور الزمن، وزحف العمران في الجهات الشمالية، والشمالية الشرقية منها نحو الأراضي الزراعية الخصبة. وما زال هذا الزحف مستمر حيث خسرت المنطقة مساحات واسعة من أراضيها الزراعية ذات القيمة عالية الخصوبة خلال السنوات الأربع الماضية بين عامي 2011- 2014. وقد اتبعت هذه الدراسة المنهج التاريخي في دراسة مراحل التطور العمراني لمدينة المرج، والمنهج التحليلي في تحليل وتقييم التغير في استخدام الأراضي وأثر الزحف العمراني على الأراضي الزراعية وذلك بالارتكاز على المعلومات والبيانات من مصادر مختلفة، كذلك تم الاستفادة من الصور الجوية لتتبع مراحل نمو وتطور المساحة العمرانية للمدينة. وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن التوسع الأفقي السريع لمدينة المرج أدى إلى تدمير الأراضي الزراعية عالية الإنتاجية في سهل المرج إلى أراضي حضرية، وإن هذا الرقم سيتضاعف إذا تم احتساب مساحات الأراضي الزراعية التي تعد وتقسم إلى مخططات سكنية خارج المخطط العام للمدينة عام 2014. وخرجت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات، أهمها تفعيل دور المؤسسات القضائية والإدارية للحد من النمو العشوائي وظاهرة المخططات السكانية خارج نطاق المخطط العام الرسمي للمدينة وتجريم مرتكبيها، إضافة إلى تنمية، وتطوير النشاط الزراعي ليحقق أكبر دخل للمزارعين بما يضمن عدم بيعهم أو تقسيمهم للأراضي الزراعية إلى مخططات سكنية.
This study aimed to identify the impact of urban sprawl on agricultural land in El Marj city. land sliding the development of land uses and stages of urban expansion of its debtor lawn eased and the reasons for the urban sprawl, there are several factors caused in this urban sprawl political factor, economical ,and social factor and play a major role in easing crawl, which led to the investment of the proceeds of oil tankers in the draft social development and urban development .Development and economic, social and physical state and the development of industrial projects and agricultural projects in El Marj city Development, especially in the period from 1973 to 1984 that led to increase the numbers of immigrants in addition to the natural population growth for the city , thus increasing the population and expanding urban areas crawling to the city over time in the north eastern and the north support it by establishing fertile land, of which about still eased crawl continued, Where the area lost large tracts of agricultural soil which led to values high fertility past few years, especially among the two years 2011 _2014.this study followed historical stages of urban development in the study of El Marj city , descriptive and curriculum in the study, diagnosis, current urban city, analytical approach to the analysis and evaluation of change in land use and the impact of urban sprawl on the land, support it by establishing and that not delivers the information from sources widely disparate workplaces ,that was unused portion of aerial photos to track stages of growth and development areas in this city . The results of the survey indicated that the horizontal expansion rapid El Marj city has led to the destruction of the agricultural land, in the period among 1976 to 2013. There was more than 2287 hectares of land support it by establishing high-productivity El Marj plain to urban land, and that figure would be doubled there was overstating support it by establishing land which is divided into a charts outside the scheme of the seen as a reward the urban land for the city in 2014. The study stated a series of recommendations, the most important of activating the role of judicial institutions, to reduce the indiscriminate growth and the phenomenon of housing schemes outside the scope of the official scheme of the city and the criminalization of the doers.
