The goal of this investigation is to obtain on modified polyester amide resins by partial replacement of phthalic anhydride with 2,2-di-thiosalicylic acid. The modifier containing aromatic ring and sulphur atoms improved the physical, mechanical and chemical properties of the modified polyester amides, especially at higher content. The antibacterial activity was also investigated and gives promising results which promoted the application of the modified polyester amide in antibacterial aspects especially at high modifier content |
