المستخلص: من خلال اطلاع الباحثة على بعض الأدبيات والدراسات التي تناولت المعلم من زوايا مختلفة، تبين أن المكانة المهنية للمعلم لم تحظ بالاهتمام لتغطية أبعاد الموضوع رغم أهميته، فمهنة المعلم تؤثر بشكل بالغ الخطورة في العملية التعليمية، وقضايا المعلم ليست بمعزل عن السياق الاجتماعي والسياسي والثقافي للمجتمع المصري، بالإضافة إلى البعد التربوي، فشعور المعلم بمكانته لمن أهم العوامل المؤثرة في إنتاجيته لأنه يسمح برفع الكفاءة الداخلية بالمدرسة، وأيضاً الخارجية خارج النظام التربوي من خلال مشاركته في الحياة الاجتماعية والسياسية والثقافية باعتباره أهم رأس مال بشري في الشريحة المجتمعية، ورغم ذلك فهناك مؤشرات تدلل على اهتزاز المكانة المهنية للمعلم مقارنة بالمهن الأخرى، لذا تحاول الدراسة الراهنة الإجابة على التساؤل الرئيسي التالي:
ما السبيل إلى تنمية المكانة المهنية للمعلم في المجتمع المصري المعاصر؟
ويتفرع من هذا السؤال عدة أسئلة هي:
س1: ما التحليل النظري لمفهوم المكانة المهنية للمعلم؟
س 2: ما الأبعاد الاجتماعية والتربوية للمكانة المهنية للمعلم؟
س 3: ما وقع المكانة المهنية للمعلم في المجتمع المصري المعاصر مقارنة بتوزيع المهن الأخرى؟
س 4: كيف يمكن تنمية المكانة المهنية للمعلم في ضوء المتغيرات المجتمعية المعاصرة في مصر؟


Through the researcher review to some of the literatures and studies that dealt with the teacher from different aspects . It was found that the professional status of the teacher did not receive attention to cover the dimensions of the subject, despite its importance. The teacher's profession has a very serious impact on the educational process. The teacher's issues are not isolated from the social, political and cultural context of the Egyptian society. In addition to the educational dimension, the teacher's sense of his position is from the most important factors affecting his productivity because it allows to raise the internal efficiency of the school, and also the external one outside the educational system through his participation in social ,political and cultural life as the most important human capital in the community segment, although there are indicators that demonstrate the weakening of the professional status of the teacher compared to the other professions, so the current study tries to answer the following main question:
What is the way to develop the professional status of the teacher in contemporary Egyptian society?
Several questions arise from this question:
Q 1: What is the theoretical analysis of the concept of professional position of the teacher?
Q2: What are the social and educational dimensions of the professional position of the teacher?
Q3: What is the reality of the professional position of the teacher in contemporary Egyptian society compared to the distribution of other professions?
Q4: How can the professional status of the teacher be developed in the light of contemporary societal changes in Egypt?
