المستخلص: Quality is the main factor that contributes for a better demand of a product. The higher quality product should gain more profit to its developer, and can be a high value asset in future. In order to achieve the requirement that satisfies the quality, quality control must be practiced widely in production stages. For construction work, all involved parties have their own responsibilities to make sure that the final products are built to achieve the quality demanded. The early stage involve a client and a consultant, which is prepared their own scope of work as planning, designing and taking care of the financial issue before handing over the working area to a contractor as a builder to commence the construction work. For a government own project, there is a standard called “Standard Specification for Building Works in 2005”, which need to be fulfilled and obeyed by the entire project’s contractor. This study focused on evaluating the quality control practices used by the contractors in having a smooth project and minimum non-conformance report issued for a construction sites in Malaysia.
