المستخلص: Most of the current Libyans those are in charge of decision making don’t look out to the cost of energy systems in power plant of petrochemical complexes and refineries. From my place as Process Engineer In Raslanuf Company, the study was implemented in order to control the combustion efficiency by monitoring the excess air percentage optimized with lowest fuel consumption in parallel to the exergy analysis. The problem definition isn’t easy like this way! The study bottleneck was how to analyse the unstable mono oxide gasses especially Carbon Mono Oxide the, however, the gasses are contribute to result calculation and data validation. The mentioned gasses such as CO, NOx and SOx don’t obey the Dalton’s law and will disappear when sample travelled from site to the Laboratory. The paper results will show how much money could be saved and how much gas emission also would be reduced in real practical approaches.
