المستخلص: استهدف هذا البحث دراسة موضوع الاختصاص بالرواية عند الشيوخ عند المحدثين، من حيث مفهومه، وأسبابه، وأنواعه، وصيغه، ومعياره، وآثاره. وقد توصل البحث إلى أن الاختصاص بالرواية عن الشيوخ يقصد به، انفراد راو بمزية في مرويات شيخ له دون غيره من زملائه؛ لسبب معتبر عند أئمة الحديث، وتبين أن أسباب الاختصاص بالرواية عند الشيوخ- في أغلبها ذات بعد علمي ومنهجي، وظهر بالبحث أن الاختصاص بالرواية عن الشيوخ نوعان: الأول: اختصاص تفرد بالرواية. والثاني: اختصاص إتقان، وضبط للرواية.
وتبين أن معيار الاختصاص بالرواية عند المحدثين نسبي وليس بمطلق، كما خلص البحث إلى أن للاختصاص بالرواية آثارا على واقع الرواية، منها: الإيجابي، ومنها: السلبي.

This research aimed to study the subject of the specialization in narration from the Sheikhs (the elder narrator) in view of the Muhaddethin (Narrators), in terms of concept, its causes, types, formulations, standard and effects. The research found that the specialization of the narration from the elders narrator means the uniqueness of a narrator with an advantage of the Narrations of his Sheikh (the elder narrator) without his other colleague; for a significant reason among the imams of Hadith, it turns out that the reasons for the specialization in narration from the elder narrator in view of the Muhaddethin (Narrators) – is mostly with a scientific and methodological dimension, with the research it was learnt that there are two types specialization in narration from the sheikhs: First: the specialization in narration. The second: specialization in accuracy, and accuracy in narration.
It was found that the criterion of the specialization in narration in view of the Muhaddethin (Narrators) is relative rather than absolute. The research also concluded that the specialty in the narration has an impact on the reality of the narration, including: positive, and including negative.
