Our study attempts at using the principles of the neo-khalilen theory in order to test and analyze the ability of the Arabic speaking aphasics to use the process of derivation. It important to notice that a number of authors have already observed the derivation's disorders in the Broca's aphasics patients, but working within different linguistics theory, they have investigated theses disorders in the performances of aphasics, who spoke the Indo-Europeans languages, like French, English…etc This study aims to reinforce the necessity for adoption the neokhalilien theory , which takes into consideration the characteristics of Arabic language, during the explanation and analysis of the language disorders in general and specially the derivation's disorders in Arabic speaking aphasics. To reach to our objective, we designed from the neokhalilen theory , set of tests in order to examine the process of derivation in Arabic speaking aphasics. The results of our study demonstrate the existence of derivation's disorders in arabic speaking aphasics and prove the efficiency of recourse to the neokhalilien theory at analyzing theses disorders.
