- Aims of the study (objective): 1- To estimate the mortality rate of neonates which were admitted to the neonatal unit in paediatric department at Misurata central hospital. 2- To determine the main causes of death. 3- To suggest the measures that improve the outcome among neonates. - Settings: Neonatal units of paediatric department at misurata central hospital. - Patients and methods: Retrospective hospital based study includes all newborn deaths in the neonatal units and paediatric department during the period from 1-1-2009 to 3112-2009. \ |
