المستخلص: Les zouaoua sont des tribus berbères qui vivaient au Maghreb central et ses côtes ont connues plusieurs colonisations tels que les Phéniciens, qui ont construit plusieurs centres commerciaux, tels que Bejaïa et Dellys, et qui ont eu des relations commerciale avec la population Berbères, puis les Romains sont venus après la chute de Carthage, et ont fait face a une vive résistance de la part des Zouaoua, qu’ ils ne sont pas arrivé a pénétrer, ils se sont contenter d'occuper les plaines et les villes côtières voisines, et après l'entrée des conquérants musulmans, la population des zouaoua a adopter la nouvelle religion a l’instar des autres Berbères, est alors apparu en Afrique du Nord, plusieurs royaumes berbères islamiques, qui ont essayé de contrôler et coloniser la zone des zouaoua, cette dernière a établie des alliances avec les tribus avec lesquelles elle possédaient des liens de parenté, telles et Snhajha et koutama
La zouaoua a connue une ère de prospérité et de progrès dans tous les domaines, en particulier dans celui de la science et le savoir, et la ville de Bejaïa, représentait a l’époque l'une des forteresse de la civilisation arabo-islamique


زواوة من القبائل البربرية التي سكنت بالمغرب الأوسط ، وعرفت سواحلها احتلالات عديدة ، منها الفنيقيون الذين بنوا عدة مراكز تجارية عليها ، مثل بجاية و دلس، تعاملوا مع سكانها البربر تجاريا،ثم جاء الرومان بعد سقوط قرطاجة، و واجهوا مقاومة عنيفة من طرف زواوة، و لم يستطيعوا التوغل الي داخلها،بل اكتفوا باحتلال المدن الساحلية وبعض السهول القريبة منها، وبعد دخول الفاتحين المسلمين، تقبل سكان زواوة الديانة الجديدة علي غرار بقية البربر، ثم ظهرت في شمال إفريقيا ممالك بربرية إسلامية عديدة، حاولت السيطرة علي منطقة زواوة ، وإخضاعها لحكمها،كما أقامت زواوة تحالفات مع القبائل التي تجمعها بها صلة القرابة والنسب،مثل كتامة وصنهاجة
عرفت زواوة ازدهارا وتقدما في جميع الميادين، لاسيما في العلوم والمعرفة ، وكانت مدينة بجاية، تمثل احدي قلاع الحضارة العربية الإسلامية آنذاك


Igawawen is a Berber tribes that lived in the Middle Morocco, whose coasts were known to be occupied by many, including the Phoenicians, who built several commercial centers on it, such as Bejaia and Dellis, dealt with their Berber inhabitants commercially. Then the Romans came after the fall of Carthage and faced violent resistance from Igawawen. They could not go deep into it, but only occupy the coastal cities and some nearby plains. After the entry of the Muslim conquerors, the inhabitants of Igawawen accepted the new religion like the rest of the Berber. Then many Berber Islamic kingdoms appeared in North Africa, which tried to control the area of Igawawen and subjugate it to its rule. Igawawen also established alliances with tribes with which it has kinship and ancestry, such as Kattama and Sahnajah.
Igawawen witnessed prosperity and progress in all fields, especially in science and knowledge, and the city of Bejaia was one of the castles of the Arab-Islamic civilization at that time.
