المستخلص: In light of a wide knowledge-based technological revolution, the media plays a major role in building the child culturally, religiously, socially and educationally. In light of all this, it is necessary to determine what cultures are being offered to the child through media such as television, video, electronic games or online. Undoubtedly, watching TV is a daily practice that occupies the space of young people and adults and means through which they acquire information and cultures. Studies have shown that man is clearly inclined to things that correspond to his views and trends. So the child's opinions and ideas which function before and during TV shows determine the manner of dealing/interacting with them and the manner of how to interpret the contents of those programs. Arab television has been criticized for the lack of its programs devoted to children, and the prevalence of destructive imagination and violence at the expense of social values and ideals in its programs. It is also accused of its programs being influenced by foreign culture and of presenting a dazzling display of the material aspect from that foreign culture. It may be that the values offered by the programs contradict Islamic and Arab values, as well as the lack of concern in respect to linking children to their local and Arab environment and their Islamic heritage, and the lack of access to educational programs, all of which will affect their educational attainment.

في ظل ثورة علمية تكنولوجية واسعة تلعب وسائل الإعلام دورا كبيرا في بناء الطفل ثقافيا ودينيا واجتماعيا، وتعليميا في ظل كل هذا يجب تحديد ما يقدم للطفل من ثقافات عبر الوسائط الإعلامية مثل التليفزيون والفيديو والألعاب الإلكترونية أو عبر الإنترنت. ومما لاشك فيه أن مشاهدة التلفاز ممارسة يومية تشغل فراغ الصغار والكبار ووسيلة يكتسبون عبرها المعلومات والثقافات ولقد أثبتت الدراسات أن الإنسان يميل بشكل واضح إلى الأشياء التي تتفق مع آرائه واتجاهاته، لذا فإن أراء الطفل وأفكاره التي تعمل قبل مشاهدة برامج التليفزيون وخلالها هي التي تحدد طريقة التعامل معها والكيفية التي يفسر بها محتويات تلك البرامج. ولقد انتقد التليفزيون العربي بقلة برامجه المخصصة للأطفال، وشيوع جانب الخيال المدمر والعنف على حساب القيم والمثل الاجتماعية في برامجه كما اتهم بتأثر برامجه بالثقافة الأجنبية والانبهار بالجانب المادي منها، وربما تناقض القيم التي تقدمها البرامج مع القيم الإسلامية والعربية، إلى جانب قلة الاهتمام بربط الطفل ببيئته المحلية والعربية وتراثه الإسلامي وقلة مشاهدة البرامج التعليمية كل هذه الأمور ستؤثر على تحصيل الدراسي.

À la lumière de grande révolution scientifique technologique, les médias jouent un rôle primordial dans la construction culturelle et religieuse et sociale et pédagogique de l'enfant. Grâce à tout ça, on doit déterminer les cultures ce qui offrirent aux enfants à travers les médias tels que la télévision, la vidéo, les jeux électroniques ou l’internet. Sans doute la suivre de télévision est un pratique quotidien en occupant le temps vide des enfants et des adultes , au même temps un outil d’acquérir des 'informations et des cultures, les études ont montré que la personne préfère les choses qui sont adéquats à ses opinions et attitudes, de sorte que les opinions de l'enfant et de ses idées qui fonctionne avant et pendant l’acte de regard en déterminant la façon de traitement et les manière d’interprétation des contenus des émissions de télévision. La télévision arabe a critiqué par le rareté des programmes spécialisés aux enfants, et la prévalence de fiction déconstruits et la violence, au détriment des valeurs sociales et des idéaux dans ses programmes, on accuse aussi par une fascination de la culture étrangère, la contradiction entre valeurs fournies par les programmes et les valeurs arabes et islamiques, ainsi que le manque d'intérêt en liant l'enfant de son propre environnement, leur patrimoine local arabe et islamique et l'absence de programmes éducatifs , toutes ces choses auront une incidence sur le niveau d'instruction.
