The aim of the study was to study the level of environmental awareness among female students in kindergartens specialization of the teacher preparation institutions in the State of Kuwait, and identify the level of environmental awareness among female teachers of the kindergartens specialization at the colleges of teacher preparation through applied education, and at the University of Al-Kuwait through the application of the scale of environmental awareness. The research used the descriptive and the experimental method. The research group consisted of 212 students of the final fourth year of basic education college of the applied education and the Faculty of Education at the Kuwait University. The research tools were the application of the adult behavior scale toward the environment. The results of the research showed that the level of environmental awareness of the student teacher in the Faculty of Basic Education in the General Authority of Applied Education and the Faculty of Education at Kuwait University was high by 60%. It stressed the lack of students in both college to positive practices towards the environment. The need to study the environmental education program independently or implicitly did not affect the level of environmental awareness of the female students teachers at the Faculty of Basic Education of the general authority of the applied education and the Faculty of Education, Kuwait University. In addition, there was no effect of the variables such as nationality and the maintenance of the level of environmental awareness of the student and the teacher in the preparation of the teacher in Kuwait. The study recommended the need to conduct intensive studies to examine the effect of some variables such as education of parents or the economic level of the family and its impact on the direction of the student teacher towards the environment. هدف البحث إلى دراسة مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى طالبات تخصص رياض الأطفال بمؤسسات إعداد المعلم في دولة الكويت. والتعرف على مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى الطالبات المعلمات بتخصص رياض أطفال في كليتي إعداد المعلم بالتعليم التطبيقي وبجامعة الكويت من خلال تطبيق أداة قياس للوعي البيئي. وقد استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي والتجريبي. وتكونت مجموعة البحث من 212 طالبة بالسنة الرابعة النهائية بكليتي التربية الأساسي بالتعليم التطبيقي وكلية التربية بجامعة الكويت. وتمثلت أدوات البحث من تطبيق مقياس سلوكيات الراشدين تجاه البيئة. وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى أن مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى الطالبة المعلمة في كلية التربية الأساسية بالهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي وكلية التربية بجامعة الكويت كان عاليًا بنسبة 60%. واكد علي افتقار الطالبات في كلتا الكليتين للممارسات الإيجابية نحو البيئة. وكذلك ضرورة دراسة برنامج التربية البيئية بشكل مستقل أو ضمني لم يكن ذا تأثير على مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى الطالبات المعلمات بكلية التربية الأساسية الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي وكلية التربية بجامعة الكويت. بالإضافة أنه لم يوجد أي تأثير للمتغيرات كالجنسية ومحافظة السكن على مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى الطالبة والمعلمة بكليتي إعداد المعلم بدولة الكويت. وأوصى البحث إلى ضرورة أجراء دراسات مكثفة تبحث في أثر بعض المتغيرات كتعليم الوالدين أو المستوى الاقتصادي للأسرة وأثره على اتجاه الطالب المعلم نحو البيئة. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
