تناولت الدراسة الشعوبية بوصـفها مظهـراً مـن مظـاهر العنصـرية الهدامـة، هـدفها زرع مشـاعر الحقـد والكراهيـة بـين أجنـاس المسـلمين وشـعوبهم المختلفــة، ومــن منطلــق النصــح والبيــان خرجــت هــذه الدراســة في مقدمــة وفصلين وخاتمة شملت: حقيقة الشـعوبية وأصـلها ونشـأتها، وبدايـة ظهورهـا والأطوار التـي مـرت بهـا، والشـبهات التـي دعـم بهـا دعـاة الشـعوبية دعـواهم، وبيان الحركات المضادة للشعوبية ومنها دعوى العروبية، والفـرق بينهـا وبـين تفضيل العرب المشروع . وشمل البحث أبرز آثار الشعوبية في المجتمع الإسلامي, ومنها أثر الشعوبية على اللغة العربية, وأثرها في نشأة الفرق المنحرفة والمنتسبة للإسلام، وتحالف الشعوبية عبر التاريخ مـع أعـداء الإسـلام ضـد المسـلمين، وكذلك أثرها في نشر الإلحاد قديماً وحديثاً، وبيان الحكم على الشـعوبية ثـم ختمت البحث بأهم النتائج والتوصيات. كل ذلك بأسلوب مختصر الهـدف منـه التعريـف بالشـعوبية، وبيـان نشـأتها وبعدها التاريخي، والتنبيه على أثرها على الأمة الإسلامية.
This research examined Shu'ubiyyah as a destructive racist appearance. Its goal is to plant feelings of hatred and envy amongst Muslim from different communities and with different descent. I divided this research into an introduction, two chapters and an ending. My goal was to give advice and clarify this issue. The research included the following points: The true essence of Shu'ubiyyah its origins and foundations, the beginning when it started and then developed in different stages, the doubts that the propagandists of Shu'ubiyyah used when they spread their claims, an explanation of the antagonistic movements to Shu'ubiyyah like Arab Nationalism and the difference between it and the legalized preference of the Arabs. The essay included the most important influences of Shu'ubiyyah on the Islamic community. From these influences are its influence on the Arabic language, its influence on the upbringing of the deviated sects that ascribe themselves to Islam. Shu'ubiyyah also allied itself throughout the history with the enemies of Islam as well as it had influence in spreading atheism in both ancient and modern time. The essay also explained the ruling for Shu'ubiyyah and was ended with an explanation of the most important results and recommendations of the research. All of that was done is an easy way with the purpose to present Shu'ubiyyah and explain its origins, history and its influence on the Islamic Nation.
