هدف البحث إلى التعرف على واقع البحث العلمي ومعوقاته بكلية التربية جامعة الملك فيصل من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس بها. واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في تحقيق أهدافه وتحليل مضمون الأدبيات المتنوعة العالمية منها والمحلية والمتصلة بالبحث العلمي بكلية التربية وتطوير الكفايات الأدائية البحثية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس على ضوء معايير الجودة. واقتصرت حدود البحث على مجموعة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكلية التربية جامعة الملك فيصل، ذكور وإناث برتبة أستاذ وأستاذ مشارك وأستاذ مساعد وتم تطبيقه في العام الجامعي 2012/ 2013م. وتمثلت أدوات البحث في الاستبانة والمقابلة الشخصية كأداتين لدراسة الجانب الميداني وجمع البيانات والمعلومات وتطبيقها على أعضاء هيئة التدريس والمستفيدين بكلية التربية واستخدم مصفوفة التحليل الرباعي للتعرف على نقاط القوة والضعف للبيئة الداخلية للبحث العلمي بكلية التربية من حيث قدرتها الذاتية وفاعليتها ومدى التنسيق والتوافق بين الأنشطة المختلفة للجامعة. وتوصل البحث لعدة نتائج منها: من معوقات البحث العلمي بكلية التربية جامعة الملك فيصل؛ ضعف التخطيط والاستفادة من نتائج البحث التربوي التي يتم التوصل إليها في حل مشكلات المجتمع، وعدم وجود خطة استراتيجية طويلة المدى لتحديد أولويات البحث التربوي بالكلية. كما أن هناك معوقات متعلقة بالمعلومات كعدم توفر مكتبة متخصصة بالكلية، وهناك معوقات متعلقة بالنشر كعدم وجود مجلات علمية متخصصة لنشر البحوث بالكلية. كما توصل البحث إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي درجات أفراد مجموعة البحث من الجنسين على أبعاد الاستبانة ومنها ما كان لصالح الإناث كالمعوقات المتعلقة بالمعلومات ومنها من كان لصالح الذكور كالمعوقات المتعلقة بالنشر. وحلل البحث واقع البحث العلمي ومعوقاته بكلية التربية مشيرا إلى نواحي القوة والضعف ومقدما الآليات المقترحة للارتقاء بمنظومة البحث العلمي بكلية التربية جامعة الملك فيصل. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018


The aim of the research is to identify the reality of scientific research and its obstacles in the Faculty of Education, King Faisal University from the point of view of the faculty members. The research was based on the analytical descriptive approach in achieving its objectives, analyzing the content of the various international and local literature related to scientific research in the Faculty of Education, and developing the research performance competencies of the faculty members in light of the quality standards. The research requirements were limited to a group of faculty members at the Faculty of Education, King Faisal University, males and females, with the rank of professor, associate professor and assistant professor, and the research was applied in the academic year of 2012/2013. The research tools represented in a questionnaire and personal interviews, used as tools to study the field aspect, to collect data and information and to apply it to the faculty members and beneficiaries in the Faculty of Education. In addition, the four quadrant matrix analysis (SWOT) was also utilized to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the internal environment of the scientific research in the Faculty of Education in terms of their self-efficacy, effectiveness and the extent of coordination and compatibility between the various activities of the University. The research concluded with some results regarding some of the obstacles of the scientific research in the Faculty of Education, King Faisal University. Those obstacles include the weakness of planning and benefitting from the outcomes of the educational research, which were to solve the problems of society; and the absence of a long-term strategic plan to determine the priorities of the educational research in the faculty. There are also information constraints such as the lack of specialized libraries at the faculty, and obstacles related to publication such as the absence of specialized scientific journals to disseminate researches at the faculty. The research also found statistically significant differences between the average scores of the members of the research group, of both sexes, concerning the dimensions of the questionnaire, some of them were in favor of females, such as the obstacles related to the information, some others were for the benefit of males, such as publishing obstacles. The research analyzed as well the reality of scientific research and its obstacles in the Faculty of Education, pointing to the strengths and weaknesses, and presenting the proposed mechanisms to upgrade the scientific research system at the Faculty of Education, King Faisal University.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
