المستخلص: يتلخص البحث في أنه يمثل حلقة وصل بين النظرية والتطبيق في مجال جغرافية التخطيط الحضري، فقد توصل البحث الى جوانب جغرافية تطبيقية برهن فيها عمليا كيف يمكن نقل جغرافية التخطيط الحضري من مرحلة البحوث والمكتبات والرفوف المزدحمة إلى التطبيق على أرض الواقع لخدمة المجتمع الحضري. يوكد البحث أن هذا المنهج جوهري لسوق العمل حيث يتطلب إعداد خريج أقسام الجغرافيا في مسارات تطبيقية ميدانية في جوانب جغرافية مختلفة يحتاجها سوق العمل. كما يمثل هذا البحث إكمال لمحصلة تراكمية لبحوث سابقة في جغرافية التخطيط الحضري تساعد كلها في بناء هيكل تصاعدي في هذا المجال.

This research represented a link between theory and practice in the geography of urban planning. It was demonstrated, in an applied manner, how to transfer geographical urban planning and research from theory to application on the ground to serve urban communities. Fruitfulness of this research is the call for preparing graduate geographers for the labor market. This research is also represents a cumulative outcome of previous works in the geography of urban planning which help to build a paradigm in this field of geography. The research presented a feasibility study for applying the elements of the Geographical Vision for Planning Arid Climate City aspects in the city of A1 baha. which prerequisite the identification of critical issues that are facing the city in it's geographical framework. An applied geographical framework to insert the planning cell of the Geographical Vision for Planning Arid Climate City, was made as part of resolving some of the critical issues which are facing the city of Albaha. Furthermore, the research presented an introductory strategy plan for the city which included a primary maser plan and the stages that are required for such necessary and important documents for the city of Albaha.
