فكرة البحث: يتجه البحث إلى محاولة فهم منهج عبد القاهر الجرجاني في دراسته للتقديم والتأخير، وبيان الأغراض البلاغية التي ذكرها له، والبحث يسعي بهذا إلى تكوين فكرة عامة لذلك، من غير خوض في التفاصيل، أو مناقشة للآراء؛ فهو يعتمد المنهج الوصفي المبني على استقراء لكل المواضع التي أشار فيها الشيخ عبد القاهر إلى هذه القضية. نتائج البحث: يمكن الإشارة إلى النتيجتين العامتين التاليتين: الأولى: أن الأغراض البلاغية التي ذكرها للتقديم يجمعها غرض بلاغي عام، وهو التقديم للعناية والتنويه بشأن المقدم. وأما الأغراض التفصيلية فهي: التنبيه، والتقرير، والإنكار التوبيخي، والإنكار التكذيبي، والقصر، والتقوية والتأكيد، وتحديد الجنس. والثانية: أن دراسة عبد القاهر للتقديم دراسة منهجية، سارت على ترتيب علمي ومنطقي، وإن تباعدت بعض أجزائها؛ مؤسساً دراسته على أن البلاغة مبنية على ترتيب مخصوص للكلمات.
This study aims to understand Abdulqaher Al-Jerjaani's method in his study of anastrophe, and to clarify the rhetorical purposes he mentioned. The study seeks to constructa general idea about this, without going into the details, or discussing views. It usesa descriptive approach based 011 an extrapolation of all possible structural positions through which Sheikh Abdulqaher referred to this issue. The study has come up with two general findings: First: the rhetorical purposes that he mentioned concerning foregrounding have a general rhetorical purpose which is foregrounding to draw attention to the foregounded element. The detailed objectives are warning, causing confession, reprehensive denial, contradiction denial, restriction, relay and assertion, and gender determination. Second: Abdulqaher’s study of foregrounding is systematic as it follows a scientific and logical order though its parts which are not totally related to each other. Accordingly, he bases his study on the idea that rhetoric is based on a specific arrangement of words.
