للتكفير أثر سيئ على الدين، فهو منقص له، مهدم لأصوله وأركانه، مفسد له من وجوه عديدة: فالنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نص على ذلك، فأخبر أنهم ضيعوا دينهم وقصروا في حقه، من حيث توهموا أنهم يَحْفظونه، وتعمقوا فيه، وتجاوزوا حدودهم بغلوهم وتشديدهم على أنفسهم وعلى غيرهم حتى تجرؤوا عليهم بالقتل، وإجراء أحكام الكفار عليهم، كما أنهم فرطوا في أصول هذا الدين كالإخلاص، فاسْتَعْلَوْا بآرأئهم، واغتروا بمعارفهم، واستخفوا واحتقروا من سواهم، وتركوا الاتباع، ووقعوا في ابتداع، وأحدثوا في الدين مقالات ما أنزل الله بها من سلطان، وأعرضوا عن نصوص الوحي، ولم ينتفعوا بالقرآن الكريم لا بتدبره، ولا بفهمه ولا بالعمل به، وخاضوا فيه بأنواع من التحريف، وجادلوا فيه بالباطل ليدحضوا به الحق، وكم مرة يرتد عليهم الكفر الذي رموا به غيرهم عدوانا وظلما، وجرهم ذلك إلى البراءة ممن لا يستحق البراءة من المسلمين، وفي مقابل ذلك خلت قلوبهم من إحساس بالبراءة من الكفار لانشغالهم بضده، وآل بهم الحال إلى تضييع كثير من العبادات، وهذا غاية الزيغ والانتكاس عن الدين وتضييعه، نسأل الله السلامة والعافية من الخذلان. Declaring a Muslim to be an apostate has grave adverse effects on the religion of Islam. It lowers its status, destroys its foundations and pillars, and distorts it in many ways. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) explicitly mentioned this. He mentioned that those who engage in this practice -declaring others to be disbelievers, have lost their own religion and have not given it its due, even though they believe that they are, in fact, defending the religion.They have become extreme and have gone beyond all permitted boundaries by this extremism that they have imposed upon themselves and others. This has even led to them killing others and judging them to be disbelievers. In addition, they have neglected basic fundamentals of the religion, like sincerity. With their opinions,they have become self-righteous and therefore look down on others and belittle them. They have abandoned following the ways of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and instead ended up innovating practices in the religion. They added many statements to the religion that were not sanctioned by Allah, while straying from revealed sources of the religion. They have not benefitted from the Quran, nor do they make an attempt to understand it and correctly follow its teachings. In order to rebut the truth, they have delved into the Quran, distorted it in many ways and argued using false notions. How many times have they themselves been guilty ofthe same disbelief of which they wrongfully and oppressively accuse others! Their misconceptions have led them to distance themselves from Muslims who do not deserve to be ostracized.At the same time, their hearts are void of any feeling of exclusion towards true disbelievers, due to that fact that they are pre-occupied with believers. Their obsession and pre-occupation have caused them to miss out on many acts of genuine worship. This is the ultimate example of one straying from and losing the religion. May Allah protect and save us from going astray. |
